  1. True Line coring does this, but they ain't cheap!   http://theccg.us/TrueLineCoringCuttingNashville/tabid/169/Default.aspx
  2. Two things you could do......make the pin smaller, or the hole bigger. Emory cloth, a bit of patience, and a lot of checking fit should work. A tight fit is a better situation than a loose fit.
  3. Top rack here. :ugh:
  4. Then if you ever see a black lab in Macon county out for a hike, do this asshole a favor and let him be.       I'm glad glowdot got his dog back.
  5. Do you pick up peoples' kids and take them home with you? What's the difference?
  6. Why do some of you guys go around picking up dogs that don't belong to you?   As far as this thread goes, that seems like the larger problem here. If the guy would have simply left the op's dog alone, we wouldn't be having this discussion.
  7. Sure.....knock yourself out. I'll not.
  8. Heck, I even let my kids go outside and play! :shhh: Not chained or penned or anything.   Sometimes they get together with neighboring kids and play.   Sort of the same as my dog.
  9. I can usually find something in the woods to use as a brace; a tree, bar in the front of my treestand, etc. If you hunt much, you'll likely gain an appreciation for a light, fast handling rifle; not one with a hubble telescope and numerous other accouterments such as a bipod attached to it.
  10. You'd probably need to come see where i, and probably glowdotGlock live. We don't all live in a subdivision or apartment. My dog stays in the house most of the time, but goes out as he pleases. Most of my neighbors have dogs who aren't chained as well. It is very rural here, and we all know each other like family. I know every dog in our neighborhood, and all their names. I think our situation might be a bit different than what you're accustomed to.   My neighbors' dogs will occasionally come get mine. They'll all go swim in a pond, dig for moles, and wrestle and play about the place. Later, they'll all divide up and go home for a nap. Doesn't seem like a bad life to me.
  11. I'm not saying the person who picked up the dog was right, but do you think after he's fed it all summer and lets it go for $80, do you really think he's in it for the money?
  12. LOL! Yeah......what we need is something else for the government to regulate. :ugh:
  13. Of course not. You just need a track drill and some dynamite, and you can adjust your "piece of the rock".
  14. I think I prefer mice.
  15. No......you have A rock. It runs from south of Murfreesboro, north to the Trousdale county line.
  16. I understand.   Unless I was pretty sure it was a scam, I'd gladly give the money and be glad to have my dog back.   Sometimes even people with good intentions make bad decisions. You'll likely be happier in the long run if you stick with that theory.
  17. Two years has historically been the ceiling I've found. You can still eat it after that, but the quality of the meat is degraded.
  18. It's legal, but you are a good man for trying to be considerate of your neighbors. Life isn't fun living near pizzed off neighbors. Likely, they'll be considerate of you in return.   Probably your biggest concern will be ricochet, since Wilson county is one solid rock.
  19. Humans are getting dumber, aren't they?   What's the difference in this and a cat killing a mouse?
  20. Chapel Hill always seemed like a nice place to me.
  21. You might give the local sheriff's office where this place is located a call and feel them out as to whether they know much about the place. If there's a government employed dog catcher in the locality of the place, he might have some insight on them as well.   How much is the fee?   If it wasn't unreasonable, and I didn't otherwise smell a rat, I'd probably just pay it and get my dog back.   My dog doesn't wear a nametag, but he's somewhat a celebrity around here. I think more people know him than me.
  22. Geez!  I'll put you in a real one for less money.
  23. Model 1879?   I don't think there's a lot of them.
