  1. If you read the law closely, you'll find that it is now your duty to strap on a pistol and immediatly proceed to the nearest Wal Mart for your inaugural "WallyWorld Walk".
  2. What's wrong with Verizon? I used them for years, and am quite happy with their service thus far.
  3. What were they protesting in Murfreesboro?
  4. I'd bet that if you could hide the name brands on those three rifles, no AR snob would be able to tell one from the other just from handling and firing them.
  5. Sissies!
  6. Your local title company "operated by a lawyer" should be able to walk you through the process. They'll print a standard contract, run a title search, and have a plethora of paperwork for both of you to sign. Other than that, deciding whether the buyer, seller, or both pays for this will likely be your biggest worry.
  7. I don't live around rioting/looting type people.
  8. I don't currently have a dedicated varmint rifle. The only one I ever had was a heavy barrel pre 64 Winchester in 220 Swift. If you can find one, and assuming it isn't out of your budget, I can highly recommend them.
  9. If you've ever made one, you'll understand that his prices are VERY reasonable.
  10. Muscle memory and training your non dominant eye to focus on sights and target will be your greatest obstacle. I'm left handed, and aside from a muzzleloader with the hammer on the other side, I've never owned a left handed gun. I have installed a few ambi safeties however.
  11. That's what I was thinking. Time to find a new home.   A guy I work with kills several rattlesnakes in his yard each year. I told him there was something he could plant int he yard to help the situation......A For Sale sign! :panic:
  12. Sounds like a charming neighborhood indeed!   To tell the truth, I wouldn't be real excited about a bunch of people I didn't know tromping around my neighborhood waving gun either. Would you?   I'm about ready for the open carry crowd to quit "helping".
  13. You did well in my opinion. As long as I didn't see them have a gun, they wouldn't have seen mine either. Nothing wrong with getting a grip on it in case things went sour.   A great thing about pocket carry is while you look like you're just standing around playing pocket pool, you are in a quite advantageous situation to protect yourself should the need suddenly arise.
  14. I sort of hope he comes back as a moderator. That would be interesting. :stir:
  15. Dangerous and unusual? Care to show me a rifle today that is more "usual" than an AR15? :ugh:
  16. How bout a tax stamp and a stock?
  17. Why would you get flamed for a well thought out post such as this?
  18. 300 Magnum=30-06, but with more cost, noise, and recoil.
  19. I'm NOT a civil engineer, but work in that field. I do what a civil engineer does, but make substantially less money for doing it. College does have it's rewards!
  20. We get a rash of trolls every now and again, but this guy was a bit different. I hope he gets help, cigarettes, or whatever it is he's missing.
  21. Precisely why seatbelts were invented. Strap them and any other precious cargo in the seat beside you so you can keep an eye on them.
  22. I like open carry about as much as threads about open carry. :ugh: They are both usually done to stir up #### and see how bad you can make it stink.
  23. If you aren't happy with the one you have. I'm not sure you can get a better AR, but you can definitely get a more expensive one.
  24. Yes! A quality, double layer leather gun belt is THE solution to your problem. Beltman.com is the go to place for them. You won't need to cinch your belt tightly, and it will still hold up your gun correctly.
