Purely supposition on my part. I am simply repulsed by the sight of a rail on a handgun. I'm not a fan of the forward grip serrations either.

As good a book as you'll ever read. A lot of it seems unbelievable, but people who knew him swear every word is true and then some.

I wouldn't consider buying a handgun with a rail on it. A handgun is meant to be carried. A rail would be like a cheese grater to a holster; one more thing to get hung up and cause trouble right when you don't need anymore.

When I say low mileage, 150k or 160k doesn't make me bat an eye, as long as the vehicle appears to have been well maintained.   He has a truck now, It uses a lot of oil, but is otherwise reliable, safe to drive, and runs like a top.   He doesn't have as much patience as I do, and I'm growing tired of him describing to me EVERY new truck posting on Craigslist in real time. :rofl:   I wouldn't mind finding another engine for his, but the heater blend door doesn't work either. I'd rather change engines than try to fix that.

Sure he is. For some reason, he loves posing for photos. I don't pretend to believe he knows what's happening, but there's something about it he likes.   Anything for attention I guess.

My son is looking for a reliable used truck. He'd like an extended cab and 4wd. As many as you see on the road, there sure isn't a big selection of them for sale.   He'd like to find one for less than 10k. All we've seen are either junk, or have new prices and high miles.   We keep an eye out on craigslit and golsn.   Do you have any other suggestions of places to look for one? This is starting to get frustrating.

Interesting stuff. My opinion was based solely on personal experience and not any formal study data.   By breed, the only dogs that were not improperly trained/cared for that I've had trouble with were Chows and Chihuahas, If a Chihuaha weighed 100 pounds, you wouldn't be able to leave your house. They'd terrorize the country.

That is the first time ever i've heard of a Lab biting a person. Under the right circumstances, I might hurt someone. I can assure you this dog, however, will not bite a human being; especially a child.

Mid cannelure should be fine. Don't get too bent out of shape over OAL. If it'll go through your magazine and chamber without problems, you probably aren't too long.   The minimum load for most any 55 grain bullet would be a pretty good place to start. Work up slowly, looking for high pressure signs. I'd go with a load for the bullet that is as close to the one you are loading as I could find. Different, shapes, ogives, etc. can have a minimal effect on pressures; but not usually much.   One caveat is that loads for the all copper projectiles will be different from lead core bullets. The all copper bullets will be longer. That means more bearing surface, and in turn it'll take more pressure to push it out the bore.   As far as crimping goes, with 55 grain fmj bullets, I get slightly better accuracy with crimped loads than non crimped loads. You'll not know until you try it both ways.

Right, but there isn't any frame alteration or empty holes left no matter which way you go. It isn't a big deal to properly fit one.
