1. I don't know a lot about it, but my wife doesn't seem happy with the arrangement.
2. I believe he oversees at least part of the Dell debacle now.
3. Even if I forget my carry gun, my wife always has hers.     The last time I was in St. Louis, I carried a 380 and was quite glad I had it. Today, I would feel woefully under armed there with a 380.
4. Cool. I know a guy named Harold who does the same thing. Probably in a different area though. You know him?   My wife works in the H.I.M. department.
5. Don't dis the Luger, man!
6. I'd suggest watching ebay and the classified ads on leatherworker.net. mmirob gave you some good advice. I use real guns for molding. If I don't have your particular gun, you'll need to leave it with me a few days. This has never caused me any problems. In making custom holsters, a lot of the ones I make are for obscure guns for which there isn't a commercial holster available. That is really the niche for the hobbyist leatherworker. Where else are you gonna get something like this?
7. Tru Dat!
8. I do have big piles of 556, 7.62x39, 22lr, etc., but not so many rounds of 218 bee, 32-20, 303 Savage, 41 Magnum, etc.You don't have to buy large quantities of each caliber you own to still enjoy them on occasion.
9. http://www.coindesk.com/price/ Looks like it's down about 8% for the day. Anybody have any new insight on this bitcoin phenomenon? For some reason I find it intriguing.
10. Here in Lafayette, it is illegal to navigate our public square in a motor vehicle after dark, unless you are escorted fore and aft by men on horses carrying lanterns.
11. I once saw a farm plat where the length from one marker to the next was walking at a brisk pace for a length of time enough to smoke two cigarettes. Now that's precision!
12. I have the ability to do this for you, but not the stamp to make it official.   Land surveying is quite the racket.
13. How does this help with bulk buying? Where do you buy bulk ammo and they ask how many differeny caliber firearms you have? This makes no sense.   I'm still adding calibers, and have dies and reloading paraphanlia for guns I don't even own yet. The more the better in my opinion.
14. Dis Mo Fo still be fo sail??!!??? Word!
15. I could see Homer Simpson buying one of these!
16. I just don't see a damn thing that could go wrong with that! :ugh:
17. If that didn't give you heartburn, you have cast iron intestines.
18. It was advertised on the radio as "The Largest Gun Show in Nashville History!" What a crock.       There is also a gun show in Bowling Green, KY this weekend.     I'd say the pretty weather hampered gun show attendance today too. I was in Lebanon, but watching a baseball tournament.
19. Sorry for the bad information. I still contend my M44 is a kicker. That, or I'm just a weenie.
20. Harbor Freight is the place to get them.
21. Yeah I hear you, but when this place is lost, the gig's up. Where else are ya gonna go?
22. No way..........Really?   I've never handled one of each side by side, but I always thought the m44 felt fairly light while the 91/30 seemed like a boat anchor. I suppose it feels ungainly because of it's excessive length?
23. The M44 is a much smaller, lighter firearm, resulting in more recoil and muzzle blast.   The recoil isn't unbearable, but it is definitely there.
24. Reread my post. I never said that info went to the ATF. I said it was recorded on the form you fill out (Form 4473) when you apply for an instant background check.   The info is kept by the FFL, and is available to the ATF anytime they wish to come look at it via audit, criminal investigation, etc.
25. According to law, there is no gun registration.   In reality, however, your name, address and the make and serial number of the gun are all listed on the form you fill out for the instant check.   It isn't supposed to go anywhere, but it does exist. How well do you trust the ATF?
