1. Now there's an answer to a question no one asked.   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^   The definition of "tactical".
2. My children have no problems handling a dog or a loaded gun. That was a stupid post; especially on a gun forum.
3. Take a fish sinker, lead ball, or whatever you can get your hands on that is slightly larger than the bore. Lube it. Shove it down the bore with a cleaning rod. Measure it.   I figure the lead sinkers that go in front of plastic worms would work well enough.
4. I don't recall ever getting an email from them about anything. My stuff just ramdomly shows up.   I remember JG sales operating under the same philosophy.
5. You can help keep an honest person honest, but you simply can't keep someone out of something if they have intelligence, and want in badly enough.
6. If someone showed the poor judgement to enter my home uninvited, I would consider them a threat until I knew for sure they were no longer a threat. Perhaps I'm over cautious.
7. Could be some non standard wildcat. A chamber cast would be done before I attempted to fire anything in it.   Is it the right bolt face for a magnum cartridge rim?
8. Wouldn't you be concerned about them coming back....perhaps with several buddies?
9. The standard way to measure the bore is to push a soft lead slug down it and then measure the slug.   If it proves to be 6.5mm(.264), you'll have quite a few options as to what it may be chambered in.
10. If you want good customer service and a great price, try Anderson Mfg.   If you can overlook the customer service, Palmetto State is great as well. You WILL get your stuff, and you will get a great price. Don't expect much else.
11. What is it? A custom Mauser action rifle?
12. I've met many a TGO member at Hardee's in Westmoreland. :D   What can I say, I'm a classy guy.
13. I wouldn't expect for one to have much meat on it. 'Bout like a squirrel?
14. I'll bet that if one did a bit of investigating, the owners of dogs involved in most attacks aren't what we'd refer to as model citizens.
15. So you're saying we need warning labels on dogs? :ugh:
16. Meet Tripp. He likes belly rubs, swimming, fetch, long walks, long naps, and table scraps. Someone told him he's a lap dog. He's great with people; children in particular. He'll be four years old next month, and there's still a little puppy in him. He's every bit as vicious as he looks. :D He sure does sleep funny though.
17. I'm all for you being able to have alligators in your yard; just as long as they don't get out and find their way into my yard.
18. My Smith and Wesson 39-2 is a hoot to shoot. Also, it'll likely be worth more than a Glock in the future. You might want to consider an oldie but goodie.
19. I think we've had this disucssion before. We don't all live in an apartment or subdivision. While allowing dogs to run loose where you live may be inappropriate, that doens't mean it is the case everywhere.
20. I had no idea people still wore wrist watches. :hiding:
21. I find Vandy fans to be a fairly congenial lot. :D   (We're good losers. Plenty of practice. :shake: )
22. Practice. It's basically a bicycle you don't have to pedal.   Wear a helmet and good boots.
23. Looks about like what my boy is driving now.
24. If you are going to do that, I'll suggest you go on and get new calipers as well. For some reason, when you change the pads, the old ones are prone to leak afterwards on these Chevys.   You might at least verify the condition of the serpentine belt and hoses while you're in there.
25. I have friends who own KTMs. They are definitely competitive in hare scrambles, and sound as good to me as a vintage Martin guitar, but seem awfully high maintenance for a casual ride.
