1. Looks like you got a heckuva deal on that one!
2. I've never experienced a static electric shock while reloading. I do it in the basement, and in a garage before that. Neither were heated and cooled, so there wasn't a problem with dry air. I also never had carpet in either. I've found dry air and carpet to be two contributing factors to static electric shocks.   Have you ever lit a pile of smokeless powder? Try it outside. I think you'll be quite disappointed. It's more a slow fizzle than a kaboom.
3. Sometimes it gets to the point where even "hot" doesn't matter.
4. I hope he doesn't use the same barber.
5. You'll find your life more enjoyable if you don't hang out with nuts.
6. Oh boy! Yet another overpriced 1911. At least they could have parkerized or blued it if authentic was what they were shooting for.   I like 1911s, but like ARs, I think the market is pretty well covered already.
7. It doesn't take much pressure to insert primers, but so far I've had no problems with it.   Those Wal Mart Federal Value packs sure were accurate. It seems a shame to throw away the brass.
8. Look up recent sales figures and form your own opinion.
9. Keep in mind that most of us have "the box".   This box is filled with holsters that seemed like a good idea at the time, but somehow never panned out.   I'd say you should still try a good gunbelt. You'll need it even if you do decide to try a different holster.
10. I'm betting it'll look just like every other friggin Glock ever produced.
11. Man, a lot of the press has thrown her under the bus! I never thought I'd see this.
12. Most Wal Mart delis have pretty good fried chicken livers.   :ugh: I can't believe I just recommended Wal Mart. :squint:
13. No, that's not it. Try a quality double layer  leather gun belt, and your saggy pants will be a thing of the past. They aren't cheap, but for carrying a handgun all day everyday, a good gunbelt is a necessity.
14. I too would equate the recoil to a lightweight 30-06 with a steel butt plate. Not unbearable by any stretch, but not a rifle you'd want to fire a case of ammo through on a Sunday afternoon either.
15. If you don't mind driving north just a bit, I'd highly recommend you give Dr. Mark Ross in Scottsville, KY. a try.
16. What are you wanting to know about it?   I have one like it.   It kicks like a mule, and in low light, it doubles as a flame thrower.
17. Anyone care to pontificate on the next potential sky to fall?
18. I just heard on the radio that the ATF was scrapping the planned ban. Not sure what their source was.
19. That doesn't seem fair. If that's true, there's Obama's path to ending gun sales. What if the ATF sent agents to rob all gun stores repeatedly, and then pulled their license?
20. I don't think you disrespected him in any way. I do believe he disrespected you however.

Dollywood

Man, I spent about $5000 the last time we went to Disney. You could ride a shuttle from our room to the lobby of the resort we stayed in. As big as the place was, sometimes we did.  All meals, drinks, and snacks were included. So was a round trip flight. My wife and kids swear it was worth it. There's a LOT to do and see there.
22. You don't have a picture you could share with us do you? We like Mausers......and pictures.
23. My Frankford Arsenal from Midway is still chugging along after 20 years.
24. Actually, this one was built in New Haven. I don't see any shortcomings in it. I don't have one, but they tell me the ones now made in South Carolina are of good quality as well.
25. I've got receivers, a bcg, and lower parts kit set aside for my 11 year old for when he gets old enough to decide what he wants to build.
