1. I regularly see officers texting, talking on the phone, and not wearing seatbelts while driving. I'm not supposed to mention that here, however.   I think the badge gives them superpowers to do as they please.
2. Works great.
3. This about covers it. Pay special attention to the last sentence.
4. Sounds like they got in a good bit of trigger time here.
5. I understand I'm legally responsible for my bullet until it comes to rest. I don't expect these guys are held to the same standard.
6. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/cops-fire-84-shots-at-robbery-suspect-hit-him-once-police/ar-AAdWWsv   Good gracious! Sounds about like me shooting doves. :stunned:
7. I have an old M93 Spanish Mauser that I've sporterized. It's bore looks like a sewer pipe, and it shoots patterns rather than groups. I've scrubbed, soaked, etc. the bore off and on for years now, and cannot get it clean. Anybody got a trick for getting well over 100 years of crud out of this bore?
8. That's what I'm looking for. It seems easier than removing the depriming pin from the sizing die to do it that way. I've always crimped with the bullet seater die. This is a new problem to me, and I've loaded and shot a LOT of 38 ammo.
9. They've always been alamites in my little sphere.
10. They're hit and miss on success. If it isn't galled or corroded in place badly, an ez out will probably get it. The downside is that if you break an ez out off in there, they're really hard and don't drill out very well.
11. I do too. A model 14 Remington or Colt Lightning would have been a perfect platform for the Hornet.
12. Exactly. The older I get the greater my appreciation grows for "factory original". If Ford or GM didn't do it to begin with, it was probably a bad idea.
13. If your guns aren't causing your truck's tires to rub the fenders, you don't need a lift kit.....you need more guns! :D   You don't have a problem. You just need to rethink your priorities.
14. Sorry I misread your post. I didn't think that sounded like something you'd say.
15. Gotcha. I'm usually driving by myself, so I had a different perspective pictured.
16. They're herding cats. You ride horses and like cats. I thought it was cute. Geez....lighten up.
17. Just for you, Sourkraut! :D
18. I work in the road. I can say that most places, about 1 in three people are distracted by their phone. Sometimes it's as much as 1 in 2.   I'm not sure the answer is photographing them on the road and texting it to police. Wouldn't that make for two unsafe drivers?   I saw a guy texting a couple of weeks ago while riding a Harley. I thought he sas going to lay the bike over when he got to the red light! :shake: :shake:   Somebody might be that important, but I hope I never am.
19. Sorry you feel that way. You might be right, but you never know. If we met, in person, I might just surprise you.   I don't make a habit of driving around with a cat under my hood, but I also don't make a habit of bringing them home either.   I'm more than happy that anyone has a cat they love, and I understand. Feral cats are a problem here. Not the fault of the cat; but poor cat owners.
20. You quoted my post. Surely you read it. Where did I say anything about killing?
21. I have a box of reloads that won't chamber in my Model 10 Smith. They'll chamber in anything else. I've ordered a Lee factory crimp die to run them through.   The model 10 will chamber factory rounds fine, and these are the first reloads I've had this problem with.   I'll let you know when I find out for sure the problem.
22. Some people don't care for cats. To be honest, I would have removed it from my vehicle, not for the cat's benefit, but to keep it from soiling or damaging my vehicle. A house cat and a mouse or rat are in about the same league to me.   I find it odd that a lot of people give pets the same credence today, if not more, than they give to their fellow humans.

Glock

Would it be possible to have  Glock sub forum?  :D
24. I'm a Smith and Wesson revolver guy, but I agree that the Ruger LCR has a better trigger than a J frame.
