  2. LOL! The article makes it sound like these guys have recently "discovered" pocketknives. Wait til they "discover" vaginas!   It's a shame how some boys are raised.
  3. http://www.kentuckytourism.com/big-south-fork-scenic-railway/2248/ I've done this several times, and always enjoyed it. There is also some breathtaking scenery along the hiking trails in Big South Fork. Nearby Pickett State Park is pretty also.   My family  has always enjoyed a weekend trip to any of our state parks; especially the ones with Inns on the grounds. Hiking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, playing ball, trap shooting, biking, etc. are a few of the things we've enjoyed at Montgomery Bell, Fall Creek Falls, Henry Horton, and others. There are always park rangers there with various activities for the kids. I've enjoyed many of these as well.   We always have a great time in Chattanooga as well. The aquarium is great. There are a lot of good restaurants and things to do near it. Lake Winnie is great as well. It's like you stepped back in time about 50 years. A lot of history is on display in Chattanooga. Just stay in the touristy parts and don't venture too far off the beaten trail. My wife still fusses about the Holmes Wrecker Body Museum, but I thought it was interesting.   I'm out on Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. It's a giant traffic jam/money grab/tourist trap.
  4. Make no mistake. It wasn't done accidentally. It'll be said to be a mistake if anyone calls them on it, but rest assured it was purposeful.
  5. Cause it ain't necessary, and he don't want one! :D
  6. Just lay your pistol on a piece of card stock or file folder, and trace the outline with a pencil. Then move these lines outward about 1/4-3/8", and this will be your stitch line. Then, simply draw the holster you want around the pistol shape. If you are making a holster from two pieces, cut the front out, flip it over, and trace it for the back, changing what you want such as the sweat shield.   When you have these pieces drawn and cut out to your liking, place them on the leather and trace them as well. Use a punch or fid to make indentations around the stitch line to trace it onto the leather.   If the holster works out o.k., Label these patterns and store them in a large envelope in case you ever want to make another holster like it.
  7. He is more articulate than I would have imagined.

  13. I always heard Jackrabbits weren't fit to eat.'   A cottontail, on the other hand, it delicious.   I've also been told tame rabbits were really good. Our local Save A Lot store once sold them. I haven't seen any there in a while.
  14. What's he hunting?   What's his budget?   By "best", do you mean the highest quality gun available, or a good bargain?
  15. This will work. Don't STEAL it, and don't get your fingerprints on it.
  16. Looks like the kid who shot the school up in Sandy Hook a couple of years back. What the hell is wrong with these kids?   Tell ya what....if my boy comes home with a haircut like that, I'm taking his guns away.
  17. What if you found it in a drawer in someone's home? Perhaps they'd stepped out for a bit.   What's the difference? It ain't yours!
