1. I do too. A model 14 Remington or Colt Lightning would have been a perfect platform for the Hornet.
2. Exactly. The older I get the greater my appreciation grows for "factory original". If Ford or GM didn't do it to begin with, it was probably a bad idea.
3. If your guns aren't causing your truck's tires to rub the fenders, you don't need a lift kit.....you need more guns! :D   You don't have a problem. You just need to rethink your priorities.
4. Sorry I misread your post. I didn't think that sounded like something you'd say.
5. Gotcha. I'm usually driving by myself, so I had a different perspective pictured.
6. They're herding cats. You ride horses and like cats. I thought it was cute. Geez....lighten up.
7. Just for you, Sourkraut! :D
8. I work in the road. I can say that most places, about 1 in three people are distracted by their phone. Sometimes it's as much as 1 in 2.   I'm not sure the answer is photographing them on the road and texting it to police. Wouldn't that make for two unsafe drivers?   I saw a guy texting a couple of weeks ago while riding a Harley. I thought he sas going to lay the bike over when he got to the red light! :shake: :shake:   Somebody might be that important, but I hope I never am.
9. Sorry you feel that way. You might be right, but you never know. If we met, in person, I might just surprise you.   I don't make a habit of driving around with a cat under my hood, but I also don't make a habit of bringing them home either.   I'm more than happy that anyone has a cat they love, and I understand. Feral cats are a problem here. Not the fault of the cat; but poor cat owners.
10. You quoted my post. Surely you read it. Where did I say anything about killing?
11. I have a box of reloads that won't chamber in my Model 10 Smith. They'll chamber in anything else. I've ordered a Lee factory crimp die to run them through.   The model 10 will chamber factory rounds fine, and these are the first reloads I've had this problem with.   I'll let you know when I find out for sure the problem.
12. Some people don't care for cats. To be honest, I would have removed it from my vehicle, not for the cat's benefit, but to keep it from soiling or damaging my vehicle. A house cat and a mouse or rat are in about the same league to me.   I find it odd that a lot of people give pets the same credence today, if not more, than they give to their fellow humans.

Glock

Would it be possible to have  Glock sub forum?  :D
14. I'm a Smith and Wesson revolver guy, but I agree that the Ruger LCR has a better trigger than a J frame.
15. Good gracious, Gordon! Crap just follows you around, huh?
16. I've been wearing Maui Jim's for years. They're clear, and weigh nearly nothing. I've no idea about "ballistic"  performance, but they're great sunglasses.
17. The only Bodyguard I've held in my hand would require a small screwdriver to disengage the safety. No way a normal human could move it by hand.   There's an LCP in my pocket as well.
18. I've always liked Barren River Reservoir, but don't fish enough now to justify the cost of a non resident license. There is a narrow spot in the lake, and it divides the portion of the lake where one can jet ski, ski, innertube, etc, from the portion of the lake where these things aren't allowed. This makes for enjoyable fishing.
19. When I buy a tool. I'll buy the cheapest one I think I can get by with. If it turns out later I see a need to upgrade, I'll spend some money then. Nine times out of ten, the cheap one works fine.   I prep cases in small doses. I'm not aware of a fun way to do it.
20. Not only can you shoot yourself in the a$$, now you have the added excitement of doing it with a barrel obstruction!!! :ugh:
21. A properly designed pocket pistol should not have a manual safety.
22. It isn't confined to the lake. People in general today are self absorbed a$$holes.   My job requires me to deal with the public on a regular basis, and in the last couple of years in particular, I've grown to despise the public.
23. What data are you referring to? There may be a few in 222, but I've never seen either in 22 hornet, and can find no reference of such. I seriously doubt they exist. In ny opinion, the entire rifle would need to be redesigned to accommodate such a small cartridge.   A model 3 Ruger would be a cool rifle in 22 Hornet if you don't object to a single shot.
24. I use the Lee stuff. You can't get the case length wrong, and it's cheap. Chuck the shellholder in your drill and go.
25. I wasn't aware they ever produced either in 22 Hornet. One in 223 would be cool. but there aren't too many of those either. I believe the 7600 is a newer, improved design of the 760. Not sure what all they changed.
