:D   We've been lucky so far with the weather, but this week is an exception. Yesterday, I had to cut a large tree across my driveway before I could get out. Lightening got my central unit. I'm about to put the box blade on my tractor and retrieve what I can of my driveway.   How's the weather in your neck of the woods?

Same here. I have driven all day for the right deal.   I wouldn't walk across the street for a hundred dollar Glock, but I'd drive wherever necessary for the right 1899 Savage, N frame Smith and Wesson, or Colt revolver.

If you polish it good with a shoe brush, it won't rub off anymore. Black is the only dye I've had that problem with. It's like it creates an outer layer of some sort of corrosion or something as it dries. You should still protect it with a product such as resolene. I also put neutral shoe polish on top of that; then buff it off for further protection and shine.

You're in Wilson county. You damn sure won't dig it by hand.

No. Reloading 9mm is NOT cost effective, but then again, neither having a baby or buying a new car.   I can't reload 9mm much cheaper than you can buy it in bulk; especially if you consider time valuable.   I can, however, make a much higher quality ammo than you'll get at your local big box store.

We're beginning to get a few bell peppers as well.

So, how's your garden doing?   We had to replant a lot of ours. For some reason, not much came up the first time.   Anyway, it's beginning to produce now. We've been getting yellow squash for a few days now. I think we've picked three ripe tomatoes. Yesterday we put up 7 qts of dill pickles. Today we put up 4 pts of blackberry jelly. The blackberrys didn't come from the garden;, but from the fencerow next to it. They are wild.   How bout you?

I've seen several pickups in the last few days driving around with great big confederate flags flying from their beds. They'll fare well here in Lafayette, but let them go into the the wrong neighborhood in another town, and the race war Obama wants is on.   I don't wish to see it, but it's gonna happen shortly.

Take out the depriming rod/neck sizer and pull a rag through. Nothing inside. Wipe fingerprints off and wipe down with an oily rag; much like a gun.

As a leatherworker, all I can say is that appears to be a pretty good execution of one of the worst ideas of our time.

Guys, I'd ask you to reflect on Mr. Rove's statement here before you start mailing out checks to the GOP this fall. Think about it again in November when you are about to pull the lever for the GOP establishment "candidate that can win" the general election.   This is what you keep getting with the party hardliners. Somehow I'm not surprised. Probably where it ended up.

No break in needed, but I would suggest taking the new die apart and cleaning the cutting oil/metal dust from it's inside before using.   I have great luck with the Lee wax paste lube. I get a dot on my finger, rub it on the  sides of the cartridge, avoiding the shoulder and neck. Then I'll dab just a light touch to the mouth of the case of every 4th or 5th shell. Resize, and wipe off with a rag.   I've never stuck a case in a Lee sizing die, but I have pulled the neck sizing button out of a few. All you need to do is reinstall it.
