When in doubt, I usually get both.

Official Thread of 2015-2016 deer season

I like seeing dead coyotes, but with the price of arrows and broadheads now, are they really worth it? -
Shocked at what I saw at DL station

...or a female.   -
...and you don't get to claim your losses unless you itemize.

Bubba, What did I do to incur your wrath?
gregintenn replied to Pete123's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
What is the reason for all the glue? Are the stocks broken? How much stuff did you buy at this sale? -
Saw a State Trooper helping a motorist on I40 Good show.
gregintenn replied to vontar's topic in General Chat
I'm 42 years old, and one time in my life, I saw an officer helping someone. He was helping an older lady change a flat tire. I wish I'd have stopped to help, get his name, and brag on him to his supervisor. For all I know, it could have been his mother, but I was impressed by him. -
Why not invest them in Tennessee lottery tickets? Pretty much the same thing, and my oldest son starts college in a couple of years. He could use the contribution. :D

They'd be hell on a rifle's bore.

Ya sure that was a woman? Looked like a guy's arm and jeans....heck, it looked like a guy in the first pic. -
IWB holster with zero (or adjustable to zero) cant?
gregintenn replied to Steelharp's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
An IWB with zero cant would gouge your love handles with the hammer or back of the slide/rear sight. That's the reason you don't find many. Any custom holster maker could make you one, but you won't likely like it. -
I'd prop that shotgun up against a fence post to pizz, and never find it again.

Congratulations! A fine deer rifle with history. As for cleaning, I use a non metallic rod and gently go at it from the bore end. They really don't require a bore cleaning every time you shoot them. I've probably shown you the one my father restocked and gave me for my birthday a couple of years ago. If not, here it is. I've killed two deer with three shots with it so far. The third shot later proved unnessasary.

This way your truck blends in better at Hooters. :D

There's just enough of it for the odd case to show up in a bunch of surplus brass every now and then. :wall: I'll bet the same guy who decided to put small primers in some 45 acp ammo also dreamed up this useless round.

No.

I've never been saltwater fishing until last week. Although it was too rough to go way out where the big ones are, we still had a great time fishing over a sunken barge. We had to throw back all the triggerfish and red snapper because they weren't in season. We caught them as fast as we could get a line in the water. My youngest son often caught them two at a time! Here's what we got to keep. Sea bass, White snapper, and I forget what the one on the top right was. A restaurant next to the dock cooked them for us. Me with a red snapper. My older son with a Remora. Indeed! My neighbor brought over a new Savage Axis this afternoon in 243. At first groups were dismal, but kept shrinking until we were getting 3/4" groups at 100 yards with factory ammo. I got out an old 99 Savage, also in 243. I let him shoot it. He fired five shots: 3 in one hole in the middle of the 1/2" bull, and the other two touching the edge of the bullseye. Also, my shoulder doesn't hurt after several boxes of ammo! 243 has also been quite plentiful on store shelves, as well as relatively inexpensive.

If discounts for cops, military, senior citizens, ladies' night, etc. doesn't bother you, I don't see why this would get one's panties in a bunch. Personally, I'm not a fan of discounts for one group of people. This is a good way to get free advertising.

Might I recommend the 30-06? It's been the gold standard here in the U.S. for over 100 years. Every magazine article your read about a particular rifle cartridge compares it to a 30-06. If a store has but one caliber of rifle ammo for sale, chances are it's 30-06.

Go to Tandy leather, buy some tools and supplies, and make your own. That's what I did.

That one is a 250-3000.

If you don't think Hillary would have someone knocked off, you need to read up on the trail of dead bodies of people she and Bill dealt with back in Arkansas.

I have no doubt they would do it. My skepticism lies in their ability. If the federal government couldn't make a simple website work, they'd be hard pressed to pull a scam like this off. I do, however, believe a lot of this isn't as cut and dried as it may appear. Hoax probably wasn't the best way to put it, but how hard would it be to find and hire some poor derranged soul to do something like we see here?

Who else was rooting for the bear to take her pepper spray away from her and spray her with it? :D
