  1. I figured as much....
  2. I understand. My dog jumped in the truck, and he's never been in a boat. Turns out swimming suits him better than sitting in a boat. The lake was full of people. I'm planning to take my younger son in the morning...no dog.
  3. Uh oh! I trust you won't be needing bail money?
  4. I may go give em a whirl shortly as well.
  5. Probable a 1/16th of an inch or so. It doesn't make a lot of difference, as long as it'll knock out a primer and size the entire case mouth.
  6. Thanks. Is the Omega logo a cause for concern? I understand it's a different trigger. Better? Worse?
  7. Sounds like me. I was just afraid I was missing something.
  8. That's pretty deep!
  9. You guys have any suggestions? I'm wanting a full size, 9mm plinker. I like the looks of a CZ75. I see there are many different variations, and don't know enough to know which one I want. I like my Smith and Wesson 39-2, and shoot it some. It is in near perfect condition, and they no longer make them, so I am loathe to expose it to much wear.
  10. I was thinking about taking off work one day next week and giving them a try.
  11. I'd like to be able to look at several of the variations. I think i'd like a 75, but don't know enough about them to know which one.
  12. It's a nice neighborhood.
  13. Welcome back, if only for a while. I thought sure you'd have gotten rid of that place before now.
  14. You've been a victim of gun store b.s. A 30-30, while not a true long range caliber, is more than sufficient for a 200 yard clean kill on anything in the continental U.S. while there's an m4 under the seat of my truck, a Winchester 94 or a Marlin 336 would be a fine choice. Add a Williams Foolproof receiver sight and prepare to be amazed. My pre 64 Winchester will shoot moa groups regularly with factory sights.
  15. I know nothing about the ammo. Just that it is available.
  16. http://www.midwayusa.com/303-british/br?cid=23397&cm_mmc=pe_weekly-_-availablenow-_-surplus_303-_-20160601 I just received an email with this in it.
  17. The boat I chartered for a deep sea fishing trip had a nice one, I forget the brand, but I could see my bait in the water. I think they cost about 5 grand. A little too rich for my blood! Especially considering I'd be mounting it on a 2 grand boat. Furuno maybe?
  18. I put a Lowrance Mark 5x pro in the dash of my boat. Other than depth, speed, and temperature, I find it pretty useless. It may be I don't understand it, but I just don't get much info from it. I'd like to get another one for the front of the boat for fishing. If you have one you like, I'd like to hear about it. The many models and options boggle my mind. What's your advice?
  19. How much does a new terminal cost? Just get one, or better yet, a pair. You're right.....you don't want to jerry rig your kid's car.
  20. I may add it to someone else's stuff, but not mine. I've spent way too much time cleaning carburetors, petcocks, and the like to try it. Whoever mandated ethanol added to gasoline should be submerged in a vat of it until bubbles quit coming to the top.
  21. My 9mm FMJ loads will most assuredly penetrate any Carhart product.
  22. I have a generator with a tank full of gas (containing ethanol), and I'd like to dispose of it. What would be a good method for this?
  23. I never met him in person, but on here, he seemed to be a good and interesting fellow. He'll surely be missed.
