Not the best place for a spare mag, but it beats the hell out of leaving it at home. The holster looks good. I do not like the tether idea for a wide variety of reasons.

I can't imagine a scenario where I couldn't stay put other than a fire, tornado, or earthquake. None of these would affect the entire country.

These guys will get and go to work in the morning just like the rest of us. Try to keep your texting to a minimum, as they work in the road, and you wouldn't want to get a dent in your car from running them over. Tomorrow evening when you go home, they won't be in the road. They'll be getting salt trucks ready to salt and plow snow tomorrow night so you can get to work thursday morning and make fun of them. They'll still be at work most likely going home Thursday evening. As I said, they are hiring! ;) Start's out at $1604 per month.

LCP question about dry firing, needing to rerack each time?
gregintenn replied to MountainDewed's topic in Handguns
Honestly, I haven't seen a new one. I know they reworked the internals somehow, supposedly making for a better trigger.....oh yeah, it new, improved, and now red. How would you describe the old LCP? I does have a hammer, but the slide doesn't fully cock it the best I can tell. -

LCP question about dry firing, needing to rerack each time?
gregintenn replied to MountainDewed's topic in Handguns
The LCP doesn't really have a true double action trigger, even though it feels like one. Cycling the slide partially cocks the striker, for lack of a better term, and then pulling the trigger finishes this action. -
A question for any experienced reloaders
gregintenn replied to Preacher357's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Some powders work great with reduced loads, while some others are just as dangerous underloaded as overloaded. I personally have no experience with Accurate #9, so I'd advise not firing these rounds if they are below the minimum load found in reloading data. It probably wouldn't cause a problem firing them, but why risk it? -
I assume this was in Davidson county. Last I heard, there were 3 employees left in the maintenance dept. there. They aren't able to hire anyone else. That should tell you what a gravy, wonderful job it is. Who do you call?

I supposed you would have pushed the truck back to the shop? What I'm trying to get at is that most any problem you find with TDOT stems from poor management. These guys might be a symptom of a problem, but not the problem it's self.

We're glad to have you here. I trust you'll keep us abreast of what's happening at Beretta. I hope you make yourself at home here and enjoy our southern hospitality.

Call me jealous! That is on my to do list as well. :no1: Hope you have a great trip.

Front differential in my truck is trashed......
gregintenn replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
O.k. I've decided to try a pig in a poke so to speak. I ordered a used replacement from ebay for $350. It says to be in "good working condition", and has less than 2k miles on it. I don't see any reason I can't replace it as an entire unit myself. If it doesn't work out, I'll take it to my mechanic. If I can fix it for $350, I'll be tickled. If not, I've pissed away money before. -
I've seen Wile E. Coyote use leverage to move a giant boulder. He usually ends up under it. :biglol:

Where would you have beating that thus far this year? All you borrow to invest guys aren't calculating risk into your business plan.
-
...and don't borrow any more! Save up and pay cash.
-
The only thing wrong with that truck is it ain't black.
-
I paid mine off. Broke people and lenders will tell you to keep debt. I have no debt, and I'm not broke. I don't care what the housing market or the stock market does. Money is no longer a concern for me. It's a good feeling.
-
It'll be due to both high union wages and government regulations, but in the end you are correct. It's all about the dollar.

Front differential in my truck is trashed......

Sounds good guys! Thanks. I have a good mechanic nearby. I'll just let him handle it. I can earn the money to pay him doing something I know how to do better than tackling this myself. -

I'm leaning that way. Thanks for the encouragement. -
....would you change it out yourself, rebuild it, or take it to a mechanic? It's an 02 Chevy Silverado Z71. I'd probably come out ahead paying a mechanic to do it, but it doesn't look like that big a job. I'm not sure how I'll go about it. What do you think?
-
Not me, brother! I spend money on good brakes and tires.
-
....and regulations are far less onerous. It's a multi faceted problem, and cheap labor definitely Is a part of it; but not all of it. Union labor is the lion's share of the problem. I don't feel for these folks at all. Sorry.

Probably the BEST of the supreme court justices. :wall: Prayers and well wishes to his family.
