  1. I wasn't going to buy any guns this year.......that lasted about a week.   I picked up a model 1953 Smith and Wesson flat latch kit gun last weekend.   I'm not very good at this prediction stuff.
  2. A brown one. :D
  3. You were lucky Blake.
  4. It's often interesting when two jackasses meet. Why can't everyone just leave everyone else alone?
  5. I heard on the radio that the one on Gallatin Rd in North Nashville is on the list as well.
  6. WalMart has overbuilt. I expect Dollar General is doing the same thing right now. You can't sling a cat without hitting a Dollar Store around here.
  7. The name came from the company's founder, Athur Savage. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_William_Savage   If we're worried about offending American Indians, first, we shouldn't call them Indians. They aren't from India. Also, why doesn't anyone bitch about the government having "tomahawk" missiles and "apache" helicopters?
  8. For sale? :hyper:
  9. That's weird. It doesn't on the regular site.
  10. http://www.savagearms.com/   Their new one sucks.
  11. I've got my county covered!
  12. ^This was my best guess, but I never really knew for sure.
  13. You're correct as usual. My bad.
  14. Actually, it was. Nobody watched it, however.
  15. Isn't this the place that wouldn't allow internet orders from Tennessee residents?
  16. I shot some steel case Wolf, and a few days later, my birdcage flash hider had that green stuff on it. I guess I need to take my bolt out and look see about it.   What could that be? Looked like brass tarnish.
  17. I prefer the terrorists to the TSA.
  18. Very nice and clean work. I'm impressed. I really like the artistic stitching on some of the pancake holsters. I don't think I've seen that before. It really adds a professional, finished look.   Also, I've found cartridge loops to be a particular pain in the arse. Yours look very good.
  19. Anyone reload the brass? Is it o.k.?
  20. It won't happen. Do you realize how much revenue TWRA would lose if they dropped the muzzleloader tags?   I like it the way it is. I don't bow hunt, and I still get a chance to get in the woods before it looks like a home U.T. football game.
  21. Hornady makes a 100 grain half jacket .308 bullet that you can load for bunny fart loads in a lot of mil surp rifles.   I'm not yet 50, but have never cared for hard recoil.
  22.   Thanks. I never know about it until it's already happened. I may try to get up there.   Wanenmacher's show in Tulsa is also on my "bucket list".
  23. Take a ride up to Cave City, Kentucky in the morning. :no1:
  24. ....and to have fire, you need fuel. Ahhhhh, semantics.
  25. It does get old. I don't clean mine every time they're shot, except for wiping off fingerprints.
