  1. I doubt he saw anything wrong with what he said. I don't think people realize these folks actually believe this crap.
  2. What's weird about it? The nut usually doesn't fall far from the tree. You'd better start taking these folks seriously.
  3. Those tiny things can fly at about 800 feet per second!
  4. To shoot stuff with, You aren't a country boy I presume.
  5. How would you know if it were prevented?   We've all probably prevented a house fire or three in years past, but how do you quantify that?   How many pregnancies have you prevented?   Has gun control ever prevented a mass shooting?   This is what is called a false narrative.
  6. I have what you need if you can't find anyone closer.   'Til you get what you want, the side of a Sharpie pen works for burnishng.
  7. JSE sales and Bravo Company are two other great wishlist websites.
  8. I've never seen an AR that "looked good". http://www.turnbullmfg.com/gun/turnbull-tar-15-rifle/ About as close as I can get.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pkdci55adqk We saw Leroy Troy and the Tennessee Mafia Jug band tonight at Sutton's General Store in Granville.   It was quite an experience!
  10. Do you cook it in the casings, or stuff it in them after it's cooked?   If you cook in the bags, would you need to lower the temp and increase cooking time?   *EDIT* I made this recipe in a 20"x2.5" fibrous casing. 20 hours on a broiling pan filled with water got it to the proper temperature. It tastes really good! Thanks for sharing. I had no idea how summer sausage was made.    I just made one tube because it was trial and error. I'm going to make several the next go around with no changes.
  11. http://www.amazon.com/Waring-WPG100FR-Grinder-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B000S8TY24 I have one of these and have processed close to a dozen deer and some pork sausage with it. Works great.
  12. That's more of a switch than a button.
  13. Where can I get one of them there magic buttons?
  14. He's said he has a pen and a phone. Stop threatening and go for it!
  15. Can you pot a link to this? This is not how I understand it, but I certainly could be wrong.   Law or not, I'd wear orange while out in the woods during deer season.
  16. Yes it is robbery. It's also robbery when the government deducts this money from his paycheck each week and hands it to the ungrateful moochers. Why don't you arrest the government officials responsible?   You really think what he did, although stupid, warrants someone "shooting his worthless azz"?   I'm not sure you need a badge and a gun.
  17. I couldn't take my eye off the drunk midget leaned up against the car. :stare:
  18. My wife says I'm easily entertained.
  19. I'm not sure shooting people is CA compliant either.   You know what California needs? Some GD gun control!!! :wall: :wall: :wall:
  20. Cheaper than new when you include tax and background check.
  21.   I wonder how many rounds were expended by authorities yesterday. I'm betting the road needed sweeping after that shootout.
  22. http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/savage-stevens-320-12-gauge-pump-action-shotgun Buck-Ninety at Academy Sports.
  23. My father has an affinity for them. I've shot several, an can say they are accurate to a fault.   They're just not my bag. For that kind of money, I want pretty. A #1 Ruger isn't much more expensive.   Not as refined, but much less expensive is H&R/NEF, or a CVA single shot.
  24. Care to expound on that?
  25. All you need is a wrench of socket and ratchet to move the tension pulley so you can remove and replace the offending belt.   Looks more like $25-$35 of you do it yourself.   There should be a serpentine belt routing diagram under the hood. If not, they can be found online, or worst case, make a cell phone pic before you remove the old one.   If that doesn't fix it, anything the belt turns could be the culprit. Since you aren't too confident in your mechanical abilities, you might consider taking it to a local garage at this point.
