1. I'm a Summit guy. I can spend the day in my Goliath in the same comfort as my easy chair. It also carries easily; like a backpack.
2. They just weren't sharp enough to realize the drugs were all on the other side of the interstate.
3. Bad as I hate to admit it, they looked really solid today.
4. Sig makes the 238 and 938. Kimber makes several small 1911esq pistols. Colt still makes the officer's model I think. There are quite a few options reall.
5. It's a Rock Island 4" with an Officer's grip frame. The grips are elk stag made by Patrick Grashorn. I put an ambi safety on it as well as 3 dot sights.
6. My baby 1911 has a full sized bore. I couldn't agree with you more.
7. I'm out. I was looking for sub $300.
8. Throw a Sig 238 into the mix and you've got the tri fecta of teenie weenie 1911's!!!
9. I enjoyed it. I'd never heard of him before. He has a cool job.
10. Here's a bit of fascinating reading for all you AR nuts out there. http://www.smallarmsreview.com/display.article.cfm?idarticles=2772
11. And you'd rather have a Hi Point. :waiting: You're really just a little kid playing with his mom's smartphone, right?
12. Ever shoot a model 52 Smith and Wesson? You even know what one is? I didn't think so. Until you shoot a real gun, you don't know how cheap your plastic toys really are.
13. Tossing this in the trash now. I just didn't know any better. :ugh:
14. Eating bought beaver is what gets you in trouble. They're just for wearing.
15. You don't figure that's what they're shooting for?
16. Looks like a worthy truck pistol. Anybody hear a street price?
17. Thought I smelled something. :ugh:
18. I've never owned or fired a Sig, and have no opinion on their guns good or bad.   I would need a lot more concrete information to even begin to form an opinion on what happened to cause what's in that picture.   It isn't like modern quality semi autos are blowing up all over the place, and it isn't because there's not many of them.
19. I've never seen one that wasn't short bus stupid. I expect they do exist, and I'd like to see one.
20. This thread might be worthy of a sticky!
21. While I'm not sure that is economically viable, I do believe people here raise bison, and maybe some form of deer, but not whitetail to my knowledge, for commercial meat. Farm raised animals are looked at under a different prism than wildlife.   There is something to be said for a relatively safe public food supply. Ecoli, botulism, etc. come to mind.
22. Again, I'm not defending these laws, I'm simply trying to explain my understanding of them.   Are you implying we shouldn't have any laws that criminals don't obey? I'm not sure I'm following your logic here.   Want to see some tough laws to follow? Get a fishing guide.
23. There's some good advice above. I'd add Graf and Sons to the list. They have a flat rate shipping charge whether you order one box or a tractor trailer load. $7.95 I believe it is.
24. Beaver is a furbearing animal and not classified as large game.   Deer were all but extinct here not long ago. I do not recall any TWRA effort to repopulate beavers.
25. I'm not necessarily defending this law, I'm just trying to explain what I believe to be the logic behind it.
