You'll not go wrong with a Savage rifle, and 30-06 is the gold standard cartridge. :no1: I've not yet had a Savage rifle that wasn't a tack driver.

Not the best place for a spare mag, but it beats the hell out of leaving it at home. The holster looks good. I do not like the tether idea for a wide variety of reasons.

Honestly, I haven't seen a new one. I know they reworked the internals somehow, supposedly making for a better trigger.....oh yeah, it new, improved, and now red.   How would you describe the old LCP? I does have a hammer, but the slide doesn't fully cock it the best I can tell.

The LCP doesn't really have a true double action trigger, even though it feels like one. Cycling the slide partially cocks the striker, for lack of a better term, and then pulling the trigger finishes this action.

Some powders work great with reduced loads, while some others are just as dangerous underloaded as overloaded. I personally have no experience with Accurate #9, so I'd advise not firing these rounds if they are below the minimum load found in reloading data. It probably wouldn't cause a problem firing them, but why risk it?

I assume this was in Davidson county. Last I heard, there were 3 employees left in the maintenance dept. there. They aren't able to hire anyone else. That should tell you what a gravy, wonderful job it is. Who do you call?
