  1. Lee stuff works great; just less expensive than other brands. You did well to buy a manual before you went out and bought a bunch of gear. You'll find a lot of good info in that book. Do you have any particular questions? Tell us where you are, and I'd bet there'll be someone here near you who'd help you get started. Oh yeah....welcome to the forum.
  2. Enjoy it. I miss my kids being that age.
  3. Don't tell him I'm going to eat it!
  4. Perhaps a tutorial would be in order.
  5. Looks like a good one to me! That's a tall rack.
  6. It passes inspection here! Go to Wal Mart and get a box of 150 grain Remingtons. You'll be in love when you see how it shoots.
  7. Oh yeah! That's an impressive piece of wood. The rifle looks new.
  8. By far my personal best. Keep em coming, guys!
  9. Pics or it didn't happen! I love me some Winchester porn.
  10. I'll show ya mine if ya show me yours! I like 150 grain cup & core bullets for deer. 165s would work fine as well. Save the 170s and 180s for bigger stuff. IMR 4064, 3031, and 4350 all work well in the 06. I've yet to find bad brass for one. The WalMart Remington 150 grain green box loads will shoot good as anything you'll find, and will kill deer dead. ^^^The "original" aught six!
  11. Finally.....a decent buck!
  12. I'll give it a go in the morning.
  13. Here's what I found... http://archives.collectorsfirearms.com/?category=903&subcategory=995&page=1&category=&product=AH3619 It appears to be a post civil war, factory built 38 rimfire; not a conversion as I earlier suspected.
  14. I'm still don't have a great interest in ARs, but somehow have managed to accumulate quite a pile of them around here. There's no denying their accuracy, ease of use, etc. That S&W will surely serve you well. I expect it'll have company shortly. Buy plenty of ammo. They seem to eat a lot!
  15. Great photo!
  16. I'm not sure if your calling is a poet, philosopher, economist, or what, but your posts are all well worth reading.
  17. Let me know if you stumble across a deal on a chronograph. That may be what I ask Santa for.
  18. The stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me.
  19. ...If none of that works out, you hand him a bass!
  20. You're just weird.
  21. I just started dragging them out of the safe and really checking them out.
  22. What I know: It's a Remington Navy 38 rimfire cartridge conversion. The serial number is 4477 1. I don't know why there's a space in it. It's tight as a new one. What I think: The grips appear to be period ivory. What I'd love to know: What is it? The barrel address isn't correct for a Beal's model, but without the 1, the serial number is. Was it in the Civil War? Is it an actual Remington conversion, or an aftermarket conversion. I sure wish it could talk.
  23. Learn chords first; then scales. Chords get the ladies; scales get the money!
  24. I'm gonna snore right through it. I hate sitting out in a strong wind.
  25. I have a Peavy amp, but it's pretty "old school". I don't know what the go to brand is today. I wouldn't think you'd go wrong with Fender anything. You already know it, but that's a $1000+ guitar! I'm a bit jealous. Learn three chords, and let the 16 bar blues ooze from it's pickups!!!
