I haven't seen a field dressed weight for this deer. It looks big as a horse!

It was just too friggin hot to hunt on the juvenile hunt last weekend, so little man went with me this morning and got his first buck. We saw a bunch of deer moving this morning. One really good buck; but he presented no shot. Patience ran out when this one walked by. I love how excited a kid gets. I miss that as I get older, but it's still fun to see in others. This was the first shot he's ever fired with a muzzleloader.

That's cool of neighbor has a use for the fence as well. There are border fences on three sides of my property (4th is the road). I have no livestock. Should I have any obligation to the upkeep of these fences? I'm not arguing; just asking because I don't know.

Same thing. You'll often discover that you're on your own when you're out in the sticks.

Yeah....I know. He had a large family, and I'm guessing at least two of them came with the intention of going home with it for some reason.

I only have standard 280s, but IMR4350 and about anything 140 grain seems to be laserbeam accurate.

I went to an auction yesterday, and watched a rough top break 32 H&R revolver that didn't even lock up correctly sell for a thousand dollars! An auction can be quite entertaining if the right folks show up.

Sure. I regularly see Bald Eagles up and down the Cumberland River and Caney Fork River as well. I've little doubt you saw one. Ospreys are more common along the same places, but look a bit different than an eagle.

I'd all but guarantee these s.o.b.s aren't strangers to law enforcement. I blame our justice system for a lot of this crap.

I have ammunition for mine, but after today, I'm not so sure about this coming to fruition just yet.

Got a budget in mind?

They are occasionally on ebay. There is also a small company who makes one like it, but in steel. I don't recall the name of the company. They are pricey, but I've considered getting one anyway.
