Wiffle ball tournament on now!!!

According to the news, it’s never been cold here before.

I remember working at a grocery store in high school. I always found it odd that the store was dead until it started snowing. Then business picked up. Then, the worse it got, the more crowded the store became. People kept coming until it stopped, then it was dead again.

I bet there isn’t a loaf of bread or a jug of milk on a store shelf anywhere in Tennessee.

Handloads here.

No kidding! And I was just up there a couple of weeks ago.

Looks handy to me if I could remember where I put it.

Here's what I found on another site. I cannot verify it's accuracy. I actually think there are a few post war transitions in the 535xxx range. Without a factory letter, I wouldn't know how to know for sure, but I expect you'd be safe in describing it as either a pre war model, or else an unsolved mystery. I take the word "transitional" to mean they used up whatever parts were available at the time while in the process of making changes. WWII was a pivotal and tough time in our nation's history. Manufacturers were trying to keep the bills paid while gearing up for wartime production, and then later, transitioning back to commercial production. Collectors stress over such issues, but collectors seek pristine examples. To me, this one represents a well used I frame 22, which is still desirable in it's own right. Were I buying it, pre war/post war would not make a difference on what I would pay. Fact is I've been impatiently waiting to see you post it in the classifieds.

That's what I was getting at.

Or a decent, inexpensive truck gun.

Can you grout it in with masonry cement?
-
And if you ain't....you will be.
-
Take the grips off and tell us the number on the frame's butt.
-
That’s pretty cool!

I expect it is just a certification, but you could always call and ask. I'd peruse youtube since you aren't wanting to make a career of it.

A quick google search show one in Murfreesboro, Nashville, and Shelbyville. Your location shows Spring Hill. I guess near is a relative term. You can learn way more than a fella should know watching youtube videos.

Is there a TCAT vocational school near you?

My father hunted with an A5. It beat the crap out of him for years until he learned about the adjustable rings.

Tips for lapping a 1911 slide to frame?

Well, you can always hammer or otherwise pinch the slide to tighten it back up, but the. You’re back to lapping once again. -

Tips for lapping a 1911 slide to frame?

I have a tool with a wood handle and different sized suction cups on each end I’ve used to lap engine valves. You spin it back and forth between your palms. There’s not really a secret to lapping. You’re just removing material in places you can’t readily get a sanding block. You know you’re done when no dull areas are left. -

That’s how it works. Will it not operate properly as is? -

Old video I’m sure. I’ve pulled bullets from someone else’s reloads and burned the powder. Pretty underwhelming. Many people are convinced it will explode. Black powder is a different story. A firecracker is a good indication of how it reacts to fire.
