  1. Show me some 300 blk ammo for 20 cents a pop and I'm all in.
  2. What makes it great to me is that ammo is barely more expensive than 22 lr, yet you KNOW you shot something when you pull the trigger.
  3. 8 cups chopped cucumbers 4 chopped bell peppers 4 chopped onions 3 cups sugar 2 cups vinegar 1 teaspoon turmeric 1 teaspoon salt Mix together. Bring to boil, let cook 20 minutes. Boil lids. Seal in jars. This is pretty good on hot dogs, pinto beans, for making potato salad, and pretty much any other relish duties.
  4. We put up corn one evening this week, and are canning the second batch of green beans today. My wife also canned some relish made from peppers, cucumbers, and onions.
  5. I'm not sure how you've made it this long without one!
  6. Sounds like sound advice. It also sounds like things are about to get bad in a hurry.
  7. Welcome neighbor!
  8. Welcome, and enjoy Tennessee. If we find you've brought any of that liberal crap with ya, however, we're sending you back!
  9. WOW! It's been a good year here for a garden.
  10. Just stick your chamfer tool in the primer pocket and give er a twist. It isn't that much trouble, and only has to be done once per casing. Most military brass is good stuff.
  11. My grandfather's guns would be among the very last things I'd part with, but to each his own. Whadda ya got, and what condition are they in?
  12. What?
  13. You've no idea how wise you are! We live on my wife's paycheck, and haven't spent mine in years. I'd like retirement to be an option at 50. I'm not sure I'll want to, but it'll be nice to know I can.
  14. I predict this won't turn out to be a good business move for botophucket.
  15. Right. I've always tried to emulate and learn from people I consider my superiors. This has served me well thus far. Many of them, when they see a genuine interest, take this interest as a compliment and are happy to help point you in the right direction.
  16. Wait til you hear what all McGyver has done! He should write a book.
  17. So far, this thread makes me feel a touch inadequate.
  18. i am an inspector for a TDOT engineering field office. Been there since right after high school. I also make holsters, sheaths, and other assorted leather items.
  19. Hot, wet weather just makes grass grow fast. I'm mowing mine every 4-5 days now, and it still piles up in places.
  20. That was my answer until I tried a ztr. Cut my mowing time in half.
  21. Lord no! I'd bushhog it if need be, but wouldn't consider weedeating my entire yard.
  22. I'm about a half to a third of that, and will refund money if you ship it back, or will make another one and send it without you shipping it back if you aren't happy.
  23. Shouldn't happen. Properly dyed leather will wear, of course, but shouldn't flake or peel.
  24. I have one like it, and it is quite possibly my favorite S&W shooter.
  25. Neat stuff! Thanks for sharing. So far, a Swede military rifle of any ilk is one that eludes me. One day I hope to pick one up.
