  1. Anybody ever buy from this place? If so, what was your opinion of it? My wife wants a new living room suit, and was thinking of taking her to their tent sale. I'd like to know if there's anything to watch out for.
  2. Yeah....I felt sort of bad after I watched him leave. This was a long time ago. I rarely ever go to Wal Mart anymore. I'm much happier now.
  3. Meh.....sounds a little pricey, but not insane. Next time, I'd inquire about the price before the work is done.
  4. I once saw a guy walk up to the Walmart counter with a bolt in his hand from a centerfire rifle, and told the clerk something was wrong with it. The clerk said "no problem". He pulled the bolt of of the display model and handed to him. I wonder how that ever turned out.
  5. You'd probably need to headspace another bolt, but who knows, you might get lucky. Parting it out would likely be the best financial option.
  6. My kid has a set on his. They were no different to adjust than normal sights. Start close to the target, get them roughly adjusted, then fine tune them as you increase distance.
  7. Drugs wore off? I've been told that many guys commit crimes just to be put in jail, because that's where the good drugs are.
  8. Looks like the poster boy for bad decisions.
  9. And when you go to sell it, an accident repair on a carfax report will NOT add to the value, no matter who fixed it.
  10. It would be non negotionable for me.
  11. I'd insist on a new replacement rather than a repair.
  12. PM pics to me if you can't find any better help. Sounds like an M91/30 (long) and an M44 (short) Mosin Nagants.
  13. I hope that if anything good comes from this, that it will be these politicians will think long and hard before sending our youth into some useless battle on the other side of the world. It ain't much fun when the rabbit's got the gun.
  14. Very bad stuff here. Prayers for our country.
  15. Since they won the revolution, they were "militia". Had they lost, they would have been reflected upon much differently in the history books.
  16. Do not fill a tractor tire tube with acetylene and throw it on a campfire. I'm just saying....
  17. They're out there, just like trophy bucks. Not everywhere you look, but there nonetheless.
  18. So far, all of my "that one gun"(s) have come cheap. You just have to have patience, persistence, and cash in your pocket when the opportunity presents it's self.
  19. That's cool! It is my understanding that the firing pin can be removed and turned upside down to change from rim fire to centerfire. It should take a 32 Long Colt, which is out of production. A 32 Short Colt can still be found, and would probably work. These rounds fire a heeled bullet like a 22 rimfire, and are not interchangeable with the 32 s&w. Your rifle was designed for black powder, so low pressure is the order of the day.
  20. We have a bumper crop of crabgrass!
  21. Man! A lot of stuff to discuss this week.
  22. Nice collection! The Garand just doesn't fit in. You should probably send it to me.
  23. I'm about as tech savvy as your grandma, and honestly, I've been too intimidated by the new set up to even try to post anything in the classified section since the change.
  24. Just kidding! It's always good to meet the guys from TGO.
