  1. I am firmly entrenched against the guy in yellow above. Ya'll do what you want.
  2. Who's stopping the guy in yellow? ^^^^That sign is in "inciting a riot" territory, which is illegal. It goes well beyond peaceful protesting. Words have meanings, and as our former president says, consequences. All of you who think you can have a rational discussion with these nuts are fooling yourselves.
  3. A big company bought an iconic, American brand and tried to cash in on it by building junk and riding the name alone. This never works well.
  4. If this fad you mention comes to fruition, I can retire much earlier than I'd anticipated!
  5. That would be the correct and legal way to go about enacting gun control. Every infringement up until that happens is illegal and unconstitutional.
  6. It is still at the top of the list.
  7. If it can't have two barrels, hand me a model 37 Ithaca.
  8. I don't think it was a most beautiful mayor contest.
  9. More like 500 tons of shot rock, but still expensive.
  10. If you are able, using existing material from the hill side of the site will be much more economical. Oc course you will still want some stone for leveling beneath the concrete pad.
  11. 2:1 minimum slope. If you plan to topsoil and mow it, I'd prefer a 4:1 slope.
  12. We still get it! The NRA isn't infallible. I agree. It is, however, the best thing going for us as gun owners. If you can demonstrate you can stop the assault on second amendment rights, I'll start sending you money. Until then, the NRA is getting it.
  13. We get it already! You don't like the NRA.
  14. I like to frequent the gun show in Cave City Kentucky, as it is the best show I know of within driving distance of my home. I know one cannot buy or sell a handgun across state lines unless it is transferred to a dealer in one's home state. My question is this: Would it be legal or illegal for a Tennessee resident to buy or sell a handgun to/from another Tennessee resident while they are both in the state of Kentucky?
  15. I'd be interested to hear how much was donated to the NRA today. I wonder if it will be reported with the same glee and energy as the march today.
  16. C'mon, guys! Thank you to the one's who have donated today. To the rest, shame on you!
  17. Just saw a big tom walk by my kitchen window. If that don't get you goin', nothing will.
  18. Background checks are nothing more than yet another tax on something not supported by our government officials. If I passed the last 100+ NICS checks I've submitted, I'll likely pass the next one, yet they still want that $10. About the only way I see them "improving" NICS is raising the fee from $10 to $20, $50, or $100.
  19. The manufacturers need consumers, so it all kind of goes hand in hand. Anyway, kudos to you and everyone who financially supports pro second amendment organizations.
  20. Just signed my wife up. I challenge others to do the same. There is strength in numbers.
  21. Welcome back. Show us what you got!
  22. Glad to see you back!
  23. I have had a GSG 1911 22 for several years now, and shoot it a lot. I'm not a good pistol shot, but can ring an 8" plate at 50 yards just about every time. I like it.
  24. Did you put the barrel in a vice to try and tighten it as discussed in the other thread. If so, perhaps you squeezed it too hard?
