  1. You are the man! I did it. It was just tedious. I have to go by my bank now and get them to stamp some papers with a medallion or some such nonsense, then mail it in. I also have to wait until the transfers actually take place before I can choose the funds I want. I think I have the rest pretty much squared away. Did I mention how happy I will be getting away from the Raymond James lady? She has screwed me the last time hopefully.
  2. I thought about stopping by there and checked my out your new pooch earlier, as me & the missus went to eat at AweDaddy's. I thought better of it, however, as she would have talked your head off. You haven't moved yet have you?
  3. No help here. Any dog I ever had would eat anything that fit down their throat. My current Lab is no exception.
  4. I'm working on it. This sucks about as bad as I figured. I will be pleased when it's done, however.
  5. I don't think this is what I am interested in. I'm gonna try Fidelity if I can ever get them to talk to me.
  6. Not my co workers. Family, yes.
  7. I believe killing a police officer should be treated no different than killing a janitor. I'm guessing, however, that they wouldn't have spent nearly the time and effort going after this guy had he killed you or me.
  8. I'm not interested in day trading, but I do share your views on mutual funds. Index funds have a bit lower returns than some, but also have low fees and low turnover, which reduces tax liability. This should all be taken into consideration before just going after the highest return in my opinion.
  9. LOL. I went from 7 in queue to 3 before it timed out and had to start over. I'm now 8 in queue. I knew this would be a fun day. Maybe I'll back up and punt.
  10. Wow, I'm quite the procrastinator. I intend to get this ball rolling before the weekend is over. I looked at everyone's suggestions, and there appear to be several good options. I think I'm gonna give Fidelity a shot. I so want to strangle that lady at Raymond James!
  11. Which part of the constitution declares the right for a murderer to drag a trial out for decades at taxpayer expense?
  12. If you'll watch on the day the garbage man comes, some people will have two or three bags of trash set out for him, while others will have a dumpster full on a weekly basis. I don't know how or why they buy all that crap.
  13. I think it works in an opposite fashion. As I drive in to work in the mornings, I notice the brokest folks in my community seem to have the most garbage piled at the end of the driveway. I think there may be a correlation.
  14. Some people are inconsiderate and self centered. I've found that on this forum, that is the exception and not the rule. Most I've dealt with here do what they say and say and are a pleasure to meet and deal with.
  15. Back in 1993, I just had to have a new truck. I financed it through the dealership, and Bank of America was who I paid the monthly payments to. I saved up and paid if off, and then had to file for a lost title, as they would not send it to me. This was my last car payment, and damn sure my last dealing with these crooks. I am not a fan. It all seems so simple to me. If you are an actor, act. If you are a singer, sing. If you are a banker, bank. If you want to get into politics, stop what you're doing and run for public office!
  16. You think a rotary tumbler full of steel pins will be quieter?
  17. Did you have any luck getting information?
  18. All I've ever seen was "once fired". Some I bought have been clearly misrepresented.
  19. LOL! Not if the necks start splitting. Have you ever seen any brass for sale that wasn't listed as "once fired"?
  20. Are you certain they are "once fired"?
  21. I tried that on some ancient 303 Savage brass. I didn't do something right. They were still brittle.
  22. I've reloaded 30-30 all my life, and can't remember ever throwing out a case. You have: 1) a headspace problem 2) a brittle batch of brass or 3) A sizing die problem
  23. That's $700-$800 if you sell here. A pawn shop or gun store will offer you $300. Your call.
  24. I know the neighbors found out about it, and are NOT happy to say the least.
  25. Are we talking fine collectibles, or run of the mill Wal Mart specials here? Whadda ya got?
