Handgun storage in gun safe
gregintenn replied to gregintenn's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
A dozen of these^ and 4 of these^ helped quite a bit. Thanks again for all of the suggestions. What I really need is a 3rd safe, or to rent a few tables at a gun show. I can highly recommend both of these products. -
Opinions on an H&R Handi Rifle in .223 for coyote hunting?
gregintenn replied to Sidewinder's topic in Hunting and Fishing
Nothing wrong with a 243, but there's also nothing wrong with formulating a reason to purchase another rifle. I'd go with the 223 over the Hornet just due to ammo prices and availability. -
You are the man, Mac!

Mental illness and/or drug abuse are the main issues that plague most homeless people. I am not equipped to help people deal with either. I understand The Nashville Rescue Mission is a worthy cause to donate and/or volunteer if one is so inclined. https://nashvillerescuemission.org/

Supreme Court may SuperSize 2A in NY Case
gregintenn replied to QuackerSmacker's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Forgive my skepticism, but the only thing I've seen supersized since I've been on this earth is government. -
Sorry to hear this. Our thoughts and prayers will surely be with you and your family.

This may well be the answer to all of life's problems! Thank you all for the suggestions. -
Will the average 9mm barrel stabilize that long a bullet? Will it be regulated to the average sights? My money is on "no" to at least one of these questions.
-
I'd go with "more".

I give up. How do the spring work? Does the buffer compress?

Killer deal! Those snubbies with adjustable sights command quite a price.

I take it you folks don't work in marketing?

I have a few. Pocket watches have always fascinated me. I am easily amused.

Somebody's got to pick one up and give us a range report.

I still don't see the difference in standards. I said that if I shot a co worker, I'd no longer be employed. This officer did just that, yet is still employed. Where's the higher standard? I screw up a lot. Everyone who does anything productive does. Some screw ups cost a lot more than others.

It also has a flat, shotgun style buttplate instead of the signature curved Ruger plate, so the butt would have to be reshaped as well; likely resulting in a stock that is too short. It would be cool if Ruger would make a run of these stocks for the American market. I bet they's sell pretty well. -

I know. I wish mine had a cutout for a sling/oiler setup. I like in on m1 carbines, and also on the minis. -
Tennessee counties packing the most, least heat
gregintenn replied to FortKnox's topic in General Chat
Coincides nicely with the most and least populated counties. Duh! -

They used to have some really cool looking mini 14s. -
Can we agree he shot his partner? If so, that should not have happened unless his partner somehow became a lethal threat to him.
-
I do not work in law enforcement. You should not take "shot" out of the equation, because that is what happened. You also should not call it an accident. A trigger was pulled and a shot was fired. Not an accident.

If I shot a fellow employee at work, I would not be back on the job today....or ever.
