Thanks for helping send my kids to college.

They are expensive because they are worth it!

First thing you need to do is get an accurate translation of the scriptures. May I recommend The King James Version?

The parking lot's always full of cars, but whatever goes on behind the gate seems to be kept on the down low.

He'll enjoy the view of an Ithaca double here.

I hadn't thought of that. It fits the bill perfectly! https://www.browning.com/products/firearms/shotguns/bps.html

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Peavey Reactor Takemine G332 Gibson 335-S Deluxe Professional. Peavey Patriot Fender Standard Stratocaster (American) Silvertone Acoustic/Electric Archtop Taylor Big Baby. I finally dug out and photographed our eclectic pile of strings.

Don't get too excited.....it's just an Epiphone.

Where's the fun in that?

My younger son and I visited this store today for the first time. What I found there were two of the most helpful, kindest, and friendliest guys I've met in years. This, in addition to the really cool and valuable guitars I got to see there made it a great experience. Just a heads up for TGOers. If you need your axe worked on, or if you'd like to purchase a top shelf instrument, this is the best place I can imagine to start your quest. The education I received there alone was worth more than the money I spent.......and they may or may not have sent us home with a Les Paul.

Or an income. You don't trade away nice things.....you accumulate them.

Surely you didn't call and ask your daughter this!

Just have it drilled and tapped.

Your thinking is way deeper than mine. I'm still trying to figure out whether Adam had a belly button.

I guess the price of a pump shotgun will go through the roof now that you're looking for one. At least that's what happened with 39 Smiths!

Just when I thought a Ruger couldn't get any uglier...

Apples and oranges, Dave. A new 870 does not compare to the quality or an old Ithaca or Winchester.
-
If you aren't set on new, I'd recommend a model 12 Winchester or a model 37 Ithaca.

Don’t buy conversion kits of the web.

I was not aware of this. Thanks for the education. -
I've resigned to the theory that the folks in biblical times had a different concept of time, or at least a different way of measuring it than what we have today. I still can't wrap my head around folks living for several hundred years then, yet I've watched the average life expectancy go up my entire life. I'm pretty simple minded.

So could they ship drugs or radioactive material here without trouble. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk; I just don't understand. -

Did it dawn on anyone to go after the seller? -
Friday had me working beside a large field of oil rapeseed in full bloom. I'm told this is where canola oil comes from. The wind was blowing strongly from the field toward where we were. As soon as I got out of the truck, it felt as if someone had grabbed me by the throat. Now I've had allergy problems in my youth, but do not recall anything like this. It's Monday, and this stuff is about to kill me!!!! Anybody else experience this?

That one might still be cheaper.
