I always buy the aftermarket glass. It is fine. A 13 year old 4Runner isn’t exactly a collector’s item. Were you in middle Tennessee, I could hook you up with a guy who beats the pants off Safelite’s prices.

That sucks. Fire and boys often have bad results. It's a wonder any of us ever became a grown man. I'm sure everyone here has at least one related story. I can think of three off the top of my head. Prayers for his speedy recovery.

If an entity was pro gun control and intellectually honest, they’d nearly have to be pro gun safety training. That alone ought to tell you what their real objective is.

That’s the thing here. I haven’t found where squirrels have been cutting them. I just don’t think ours made many nuts this year. Did you eat any? They tell me they are even better toasted. I haven’t tried that. I like em right out of the hull.

Yeah. I really like to eat them. My wife makes a pie with them, and it is much better to me than a pecan pie, and I love pecan pies. I also know an older lady who likes them, and I told her I’d bring her some if I could find them.

They’ve earned the right. They keep this place orderly.

That’s what it takes to keep it a site worth visiting. They do a great job with little recognition.

The Armscor ammo I tried wasn't bad accuracy wise, but not as good as the old Winchester load.

I find the 40 grain Winchester’s, both solid and hollow point, to be superior to anything I’ve been able to try in my Savage rifle as well.

There just aren’t many around here this year. There is a good crop of walnuts and acorns, however.

And I thought the tactical Marlin lever was ugly.

Dave, I am by no means an English scholar. I read it as the first part stating why the second amendment is necessary. The second part, which stands on it’s on, declares the right to keep and bear arms an unrestricted right of “THE PEOPLE”. I am among “THE PEOPLE”. I think you are as well.

Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear. I’m on your team my friend. I was simply mocking folks who claim the constitution says things it clearly does not say. They pulled the tired old quote “separation of church and state” from a letter penned by Thomas Jefferson if I remember correctly. Nowhere in the constitution or the amendments will you find it. I know because I looked more than once.

Today we went to Owensboro to the Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Museum. They have a room in there with a wall full of top shelf instruments you are welcome to pick up and play until your heart's content. I found one I fell in love with. I swear it was marked Martin OM-38. I cannot find anything about that model with a google search. Perhaps it was an OM-28. They are pricey. There was a young boy in there who could play any instrument in the room. I played with him for a while. He could sing too!
