Sounds crazy high to me. I bought an '06 4 door XLT 4x4 with a 6.5' bed for $2700 at a repo auction. It needed a windshield and a set of tires. It has 220k miles.

I watch LSN, Craigslist, and go to bank repo auctions. I try to avoid used car dealers anytime I can. If you have a Facebook account, it is also a great place to look for a used vehicle.

I took my first and second uber rides today and thought of this thread. Sadly steelharp didn't pick me up either time. I liked it. It seems like a really sound business model. I had a car in about two minutes both times. The drivers were very courteous.

The grips appear to be Ajax brand faux stag. I expect it has been renickled, but can't tell for sure from the pics. The hammer and trigger should be color case hardened. I never understood why so many people would renickel a revolver, and include the hammer and trigger. In yours, I can't quite tell if the case hardening has faded, or if the hammer and trigger are nickel.

Cool! A Smith and Wesson 2nd model 44 Hand Ejector. You don't see those every day. They have quite a following among collectors. What length is the barrel?

I'd have taken the Remington derringer in lieu of the Iver Johnson revolver, but overall it sounds like you have a nice gun collection. We'd like to see pictures if you are inclined to post them.

I shot a little buck this morning at daylight with a messed up rack. I couldn't tell he had a rack until after I killed him. That'll end my season I guess. He'll make some good jerky!

I filled it out and attached pictures. I didn't notice I'd filled out the wrong one until I hit submit, and it said I was out of the date range. I then picked the correct one and started over. Had to make a couple of trips to the basement to make more pictures. I wish they'd just knock $20 off the price.

Will anything come of it?
