Why wouldn’t you arrest the hypothetical guy and leave his possessions where they are? Wouldn’t that more surely remove the threat?
-
You Gotta love .gov, where the ar pistol with arm brace is legal, but a small kid learning to deer hunt with a Thompson Contender single shot, 14” barrel 30-30 with a youth stock mounted is a felony. I’ll stick with “shall not be infringed”.

Again, a failure of our inept, money grubbing justice system. Why is this guy still among the living?
-
This and NO! Our justice system needs a serous overhaul If one isn’t to be trusted with firearms, one should not be free to roam in public, and damned sure shouldn’t be allowed to vote..

Red flag laws are a violation of the 4th amendment as much as, if not more than the 2nd amendment.

And if Trump proposed precisely that today, they’d fight it tooth and nail. I’d like to think he’s doing it on purpose, but perhaps not, but he has a great knack for getting the Democrats to publicly out themselves as the frauds they are. To a degree, he’s done similarly with the republicans. Name another instance where Schumer has come out against a gun control proposal.

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/456545-schumer-blasts-red-flag-legislation-as-ineffective-cop-out Never fear! Trump my be trying to shove gun control down our throats, but good ole Chuck Schumer is having none of it.

I often find myself critical of law enforcement, but whoever shot this clown so quickly sure had their stuff together! Kudos for a job very well executed.
-
You may well be correct, but what if he uses this to get democrats on record voting against the very gun control measures they tirelessly call for? He can then say he tried.
-
Got it put together yet? How do you like it?

On deck is Tannerite.

Once it starts, it'll be near impossible to put that genie back in the bottle.

When is the media going to start taking some responsibility for stoking and promoting these lunatics? Glorifying these cowards may sell ad space, but it does our country a great injustice. I do not blame the media alone, but they do hold a percentage of blame each time these things happen in my opinion. I'll not hold my breath.
-
Have the race wars the media have been stoking actually begun?

In before the lock!

I have an attachment for my leaf blower that'll blow out gutters. It works pretty good if the gutters are dry. It'll give you freckles otherwise. I usually just drag out the ladder.

I went with my son today pawn shop hopping, looking for him an acoustic guitar. We went in the Outpost Pawn Shop in Hendersonville, and he bought a really nice Yamaha from the very nice gentleman who ran the store for what I feel is a great price. I got home and googled the guitar to learn a bit about it, and you'll never believe what I found. It isn't a guitar LIKE this one. It IS this one! The sad part is he has no idea who Jimmy Fortune is. Great playing and sounding guitar anyway. Tennessee is a pretty cool place.

That's a friggin pre 64! It has been dinked with and refinished, but still......wow! I can't wait to hear how it shoots. I've yet to have a model 70 that wasn't scary accurate. You paid for half the floorplate. https://www.customshopinc.com/product/winchester-model-70-pre-64-super-grade-floor-plate-like-new/

You stole that! How ‘bout some pictures?

I like to think there will be a special place in heaven reserved for parents and kids like this. On the other hand, I have no pity nor tolerance for parents of children who've simply not been taught discipline. It usually isn't hard to tell the difference.
-
Well don’t leave us hanging. What have you learned about it?
-
I agree.

Also buy the 209 primer breechplug, and it looks like a winner to me!

I believe the old caps are a major source of corrosion in addition to black powder. Pyrodex will rust em as well. My point is to advise anyone new to muzzleloaders that they require meticulous cleaning, oiling, and periodic checking for corrosion.

...and the impending rust.
