  1. I don't share your certainty. It appears to me that someone has conveyed the fact to Trump that he's toast in the upcoming election if he pizzez off the gun crowd. I think he's smart enough to listen. Now after the election, I'd say all bets are off.
  2. You put it in the right section. Someone will be along sooner or later and give you more info than you ever cared to know about it. Between all the members there, someone knows EVERYTHING!!! They are very good about sharing information too. You are getting some action over there now, Rob.
  3. Evidently the Terrier serial numbers were separate from the rest of the j frames. I knew the model 60 numbers were different, but not the terriers. I’m always learning something. As my memory fades, I find I learn the same things multiple times.
  4. I’m stumped. Between 68 and 74 is close as I can get. I’m sure you already know, but in case someone who reads this might not, the 38 S&W cartridge is not interchangeable with the more popular 38 Special.
  5. Now that presents a conundrum.
  6. I assume the serial number has a “j” in front of it? If not, it’s a 1957 model with the wrong grips. If so, Garufa is right. Nevermind. I now see it is a -1 model. Never doubt the Garufa!
  7. The non diamond grips indicate it was made after 1968, and the pinned barrel indicated it was made before 1982. To further narrow it down, I believe they ceased production of the Terrier in 1974.
  8. The number on the but is the serial number. The grip adapter appears to be a Tyler-T. They are quite popular.
  9. Great thread!
  10. LOL! Like a sponge. It's like a low grade pine or something. I have an AK that sports plywood furniture.
  11. I've wondered what kind of wood the Chinese used in these guns. It is obviously not very good quality for gun stocks.
  12. Ya'll remember the guy in Scottsville, KY who raped and murdered a little girl a couple of years back? He reinforces my support of the death penalty.
  13. Amazingly, no.
  14. That was before we entered the “Idiocracy” phase.
  15. There is a series on Netflix I find fascinating, called “Making a Murderer”, that will cause anyone to re evaluate their stance on the death penalty. In the case, however, where there is no doubt, put the offender down.
  16. Unless you can’t shoot or your bullets aren’t any count, you’ll get phenomenal accuracy out of that old workhorse.
  17. If it makes you feel any better, a dumbazz like me managed to raise two average guys to the verge of adulthood (20 and 15) without ever once accidentally leaving them unattended in a vehicle.
  18. 32-20 is as close as I've gotten to reloading the 32 Long. I think it should be pretty simple. Unique or Bullseye should both work fine. I'd probably start with a low end charge of Bullseye. If they are true wadcutters, the ones I've loaded for 38 Special were pretty much all inside the case and crimped. Scary accurate.
  19. Being a parent is a tough job.....but the interview is pretty cool!
  20. It is a shame there cannot be a test one has to pass in order to reproduce.
  21. Both I suppose. If a person is deemed not worthy of having a firearm as the second amendment explicitly calls for, I don't feel that person is worthy of being in public. Why would we turn a guy loose if we thought he'd probably just go back home and beat or kill his wife? I'm not arguing with law enforcement here. They simply have a job to do. I do believe our justice system is due a major overhaul. The guy who the are executing tonight. He committed those murders in 1986 if I'm not mistaken. He should have assumed room temperature in about a week. I see the court system as it stands today to be little more than a revenue generating device.
  22. What if she wanted that grand piano upstairs out of the house? Would you remove that as well? I just don’t follow your line of thinking.
  23. You should remove ME from the home and we’ll work it out in court. You have no reason to remove my legal, personal possessions.
  24. I had one of those years ago and liked it. It was 100% reliable.
  25. You won’t ever be sorry you bought quality.
