  1. Buy the 99 Savage in the classifieds and have a gunsmith thread it. You’ll have an awesome and unique rifle.
  2. These are about as much fun as you can legally have with your pants on. This sure looks like a nice one! Good luck with sale.
  3. Rest assured that wasn’t their intention, but I expect you’re correct. He’d make a good piñata at the next NRA convention.
  4. If you don’t have any luck here, I really like Xtreme plated bullets.
  5. That’s me, except it’s in fast forward.
  6. I laid in bed last night with the picture of a guitar neck in my head and scales running through it. I may be over doing it a bit.
  7. I sure wish I had kept better notes through the years. A small notebook for each caliber would be awesome. Unfortunately, my lazy hind end failed to do this, and now my memory isn't what it once was. I hope this thread might be of some use to new folks starting down the reloading rabbit hole. Keep em coming, folks!
  8. Thanks for sharing. Those are interesting, and you are a better gun writer than many who make a living at it.
  9. Farms are disappearing around me at a very alarming rate.
  10. Weren’t they all ingraved?
  11. The counter is actually part of the rotary magazine spindle. If you can put shells in it, the counter will work. Everybody needs a 99 Savage, if for no other reason than just to see how they were designed.
  12. I don't think any of those were ever changed out. Every one I ever saw was disgusting.
  13. I’ve learned a LOT the last little bit, but I’ll sure be glad when I get to the application portion of the program!
  14. Good enough for me! Thanks.
  15. That’s helpful! So you can attest these are all legit companies?
  16. Ethanol turns into shellac.
  17. Synthetic gas? Tell us more.
  18. What was wrong with the Ford if you don’t mind me asking?
  19. Only way to go.
  20. You get me! I think music appreciation is a math nerd’s domain. My wife hears the words of a song, and maybe the beat. This frustrates me as there is so much more involved one can appreciate.
  21. If you learn a bit about the science behind the music, you will hear music in a whole new way. It is well worth the effort in my opinion, even if you do not intend to learn how to play an instrument .
