  1. A bear dog and s one to take care of!
  2. I don't recall ever having a dog that didn't get sprayed by a skunk. Rarely, however, did one get sprayed twice.
  3. I do not envy your situation. How I'd handle it would probably not be good advice to share.
  4. The first guy you’ll want to talk to is probably the sheriff.
  5. There should also be metal pins in the ground. You can probably take a tape measure and metal detector with your plat and find them.
  6. You need a licensed surveyor. Usually, property is staked before a sale, but I don’t guess it has to be. You also may need an attorney. A bad neighbor can be nearly as miserable as a bad wife.
  7. Or a gunsmithimg screwdriver that actually fits the slot. Sometimes good tools can actually save you money.
  8. Are you needing just the border pins located, or are you needing an actual licensed survey?
  9. Rock Island can make them work right out of the box. People say to “buy American”, but sometimes I don’t see the advantage.
  10. I dunno, but always enjoyed his posts. I hope he’s o.k.
  11. It never frosts in May! Global warming my ###!
  12. We use crushed walnut hulls, Bullseye powder, and cut wads out of basket paper. Powder, wad, walnut shells, wad, then crimp. The boys have a ball shooting carpenter bees out in the equipment shed. Wish I’d have thought of it when you were here. I’d have taken you on a guided hunt.
  13. 22 Hornet, or my personal pick, 218 Bee!
  14. We missed the wind and only got rain. It looks bad around Gallatin and Lebanon as well.
  15. You also HAD to work on them regularly. We drive older, high mileage vehicles, and still it is odd to have to work on them. For the most part, they are trouble free. I'll take that over an easy to work on vehicle that requires a lot of work.
  16. How’d that turn out?
  17. Many thanks for all the advice and encouragement. This job turned out to be easier than I was expecting. My little Tacoma is back together and running like new!
  18. My wife was there to supervise.
  19. I don’t have all our tomato and pepper plants set, but all seeds are planted.
  20. Mine is in the ground. Now it is time for mother nature to do her part.
  21. Replacing a bolt requires checking/adjusting headspace. THIS IS CRUCIAL! A gunsmith should be able to do it for you.
  22. Change “before” to “instead of”, and we are on the same page.
  23. Taxes you pay also goes up even without rate increases. You make more money, you pay more tax. That is the way it is and the way it should be. A rate increase simply means more government. Don’t you believe we already have quite enough government?
