  1. Ruth Bader Ginsberg lived with it seemingly forever.

  3. It's a rare guy that everyone likes. Alex somehow pulled it off. I'm not aware of anyone who didn't like him.
  4. That show is gonna be weird. I’ve been a Jeopardy fan for ever. I really liked Trebek’s dry sense of humor.
  5. She sounds like a keeper!
  6. Depends on what you are after. I wouldn’t call it a mistake, but personally, I would have no hesitation whatsoever shooting him. It looks to me like the racks are much more impressive than the deer carrying them. I’d bet those aren’t very old.
  7. The really cool thing about a lever rifle is that they are flat. There are no protrusions to bump against things. They slide out of a scabbard nicely. They carry well in the hand.
  8. Missed a decent buck right at daylight. Saw 3 bucks, a doe with last year’s fawn, and a coyote. It was slow. I’m guessing because the moon was bright last night combined with this beach weather we’re having. Got back home and shot a target. Dead on. I guess I’m like Toby Keith...”not as good as I once was”.
  9. Hang on, guys and gals. We ain’t seen nothing yet!
  10. I’m ready for the end of the election.
  11. I have many guns I haven’t shot in years and some I’ve never shot.
  12. I'm a 99 Savage guy, but I do like lever rifles in general. I have an older Rossi Puma in 357 Mag. It is a neat little rifle. One in 45 Colt would be awesome.
  13. Take a fool’s advice. If you want one, get one.....or a few. The supply will dry up and prices will skyrocket. I’ve seen this story play out too many times. I’ve yet to see prices decrease on milsurp guns of any persuasion.
  14. Ambitious is the word thwart comes to mind.
  15. Likely so. Does is still run?
  16. I’ve no idea if there’s even still a market for them, but being an admirer of old things, I’d like to hear a price once you get one in mind.
  17. The cool thing about being prepared is that you can sit back and enjoy the show. We've seen this before, and we'll see it again.
  18. A great entertainer!
  19. Shoot em and see.
  20. Where da heck did the edit button go? I'm a big fan of the edit button. Nevermind. I found it. In case there's anyone else on here dumb as I am, it's in the three dots in the upper right corner.
  21. Glad to hear it. They have been lackluster, to put it mildly, in the past.
  22. Just have some patience and don't try to rush things.
  23. Can’t wait to hear how this adventure turns out
  24. Either don’t sand it or recut it with a checkering tool. Hint...use a sanding block and not just a piece of sandpaper in your hand. I’ll bet YouTube has some informative videos on refinishing a stock.
  25. Do it yourself. A damp rag on the stock and a hot clothes iron on top of it will pull out most dents and dings. Some sandpaper and a bottle of tru-oil is about all you need. To get a satin finish, rub with fine steel wool or better than that, pumice dust.
