  1. Me too. Might go for a doe Friday. I’ll see the biggest deer of my life.
  2. Everybody quit deer hunting? Let’s see those pics!
  3. That old Krag was a pretty good investment. I imagine it holds a great value to that family.
  4. I’ve been a fan for a long time, but if they hire another coach due to skin color instead of ability, I’m opting out.
  5. In defense of UT, I think she is now one of Vandy's leading scorers this season.
  6. He was a talented man and a true country gentleman. Most folks don’t know it, but he was a talented baseball player as well.
  7. After yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling, I have resigned to the fact that we are all screwed. I have failed my children.
  8. Well, this one has been in the classified section here for quite a while and hasn't sold, although it does sit in the back of my mind.
  9. I'm with AuEagle. I'd tape up the bottom with clear Scotch tape and leave the top alone. This looks like it would keep the box from tearing further. Very nice piece!
  10. You don’t have a coyote call. What you have is a bird call!
  11. Maybe you've found my problem!
  12. I've shot a bunch while deer hunting, but haven't had much success calling them.
  13. That's a dump truck full of information. I'm not sure how to gain much of anything from it, but it is somewhat interesting.
  14. A coon dog in the house would make one helluva security system, methinks.
  15. Always take the match! I’d put my whole paycheck in a retirement account we’re somebody willing to match it.
  16. Not a big deal. My old man lives in town. He called the game warden about deer eating his garden. The game warden gave him written permission to dispatch them. He even loaned him a game camera that texts pics to his phone. I think he shot four deer out of it this year. Not sure what the neighbors think of an 80 year old man in his drawers firing a shotgun in the middle of the night inside the city limits, but so far there's been no legal repercussions.
  17. My younger kid and his buddies all insert the work "like" between at least every other word. That grates my azz something fierce.
  18. If you wouldn’t sell it for the purchase price, you’re probably going to want to buy it.
  19. Well, if you had this gun, would you sell it to me for $500?
  20. I had one fund that more than doubled in a year back during the .com bubble. It didn't as well the following year. LOL
  21. It does tend to get a man's attention!
  22. It's like buying gold. Most folks don't want to buy until they see it go up and up and up. Not the best place to buy in.
  23. Make sure to give it a thorough cleaning if that ammo is corrosive. That’s a neat round. I have a CZ52 that fires the same cartridge. It’s fun to shoot, and quite impressive for what it is, although the decocker and the trigger seem to perform the same function. I need to get that sorted out sometime.
  24. Awesome!
  25. Nice buck, Quavodus! That rifle is a Model 70 Winchester featherweight chambered in 280 Remington. I’ve never had a Savage that wasn’t really accurate.
