  1. Please report back if you don't mind.
  2. I just leave mine on auto and let it do it’s thing. It’s been doing that for 18+ years. We’ve been comfortable, and I can’t really complain about the electric bills. I wouldn’t have anything else. (I grew up cutting firewood.)
  3. Google "geothermal heating and cooling".
  4. I went to Mt. Juliet this morning. We in Macon County don't have anything on you guys down that way. It's pretty bad.
  5. I sure appreciate it, guys!
  6. Duluth is wonderful for weather like this.
  7. And a piano would cover twice the area.
  8. If a piano, or back in the day, a waterbed wasn’t a problem, you’re good methinks.
  9. I wouldn't worry about it.
  10. Save you a trip. It’s a holiday. The mail didn’t run.
  11. Driving in Macon County is "interesting".
  12. How big are the safes?
  13. If you are concerned, would you be able to get under there and do some extra bracing?
  14. Shouldn't be a problem.
  15. I haven’t.
  16. I have some 155 grain Sierra Palma Match I'd like to load. I've found that 150 and 155 grain bullets call for the same loads. Perusing the internet finds loads from 46-50 grains if IMR 4895. Oddly, the only reloading manual I have that has a separate section for M1 Garands doesn't show any IMR 4895 loads for 150-155 grain projectiles. It does for 168-175 grain bullets. A different manual has loads for IMR 4895 and 150-155 grain bullets, but they don't specify they are for a Garand. I assume they would work, however. Wouldn't you think so? If you have a similar pet load, I'd like to hear what it is.
  17. Slick to closed in my neighborhood.
  18. You interested in getting another one running? I got close, but never could get that mulit fingered spring into the correct position, and think I bent one of the fingers. I think mine might work if I could get that worked out. I thought they were a black powder only proposition. Guess I was wrong. Kudos to you for figuring it out! I’m told there are very few people left who have the skill and knowledge to repair them. They are a unique design for sure.
  19. I’m goad you share your talent with us. It’s a big part of what makes this forum what it is.
  20. Most impressive!
  21. That is pretty slick. Midwest industries makes some good and innovative products.
  22. Awesome!!!
  23. No idea. I usually get a letter stating it’s time to renew.
  24. New one on me.
  25. I could see wanting to print holster clips, magazine bodies and followers, and tinkering with printing an AR lower receiver. I also think it would be neat to replicate small plastic parts that get broken on household appliances like latches, etc. This probably wouldn't be worth the time, effort, and expense. But I guess it would help fight boredom on a rainy day.
