  1. Most impressive!
  2. That is pretty slick. Midwest industries makes some good and innovative products.
  3. Awesome!!!
  4. No idea. I usually get a letter stating it’s time to renew.
  5. New one on me.
  6. I could see wanting to print holster clips, magazine bodies and followers, and tinkering with printing an AR lower receiver. I also think it would be neat to replicate small plastic parts that get broken on household appliances like latches, etc. This probably wouldn't be worth the time, effort, and expense. But I guess it would help fight boredom on a rainy day.
  7. That’s what I feared. I learned to operate AutoCad Release 10 back in the early 90’s. I’m not sure I’d have the patience to learn a new program, although I expect they are a lot more user friendly today. I’m showing my age.
  8. Leave it to btq96r to get right to the nut of the problem.
  9. I'm just interested int he basic premise of how it works. Do you design things via a CAD program, or can you put an item in some sort of scanner and replicate it? I assume you can buy existing files to create some items? I wouldn't have a price range in mind, and may never get into it, but it sure fascinates me.
  10. I find this fascinating. Thanks for posting. Would you be able to post any links that would be good for a dummy like me to learn a bit about these printers.
  11. Looks like Americans ought to be a well armed bunch.
  12. The post office is one of only a handful of things the federal government was actually tasked to do. My experience has been that they do a pretty good job.
  13. 5 grains of Bullseye is my standard load for 230 grain ball ammo. Wouldn’t it work for these bullets as well? Probably not the highest velocity you can get, but it was good enough for Uncle Sam.
  14. How do it shoot?
  15. LOL! That didn't last long!
  16. Thanks, Doug!
  17. I can appreciate that, but would hope you find a suitable pro second amendment organization to support.
  18. I would like to offer my sincere gratitude to those of you who responded to this thread. I'd also like to bump it in case anyone missed it the first go around. It would appear that TFA is doing some great work for us here in Tennessee, and I have expectations that we will get constitutional carry this legislative session. We have a couple of members here who work tirelessly for our gun rights via this organization and do not ask for recognition. I do think they could use your support at this time. Also, TGO is a valuable resource for gun owners in Tennessee. We should be grateful it exists. I would ask those of you who frequent this site and benefit from it to consider becoming a member if you aren't already. It may be free to you, but it definitely isn't free to keep on the internet.
  19. Macon County did. My wife and I were there to witness it. So was a bunch of other Macon County residents.
  20. One for each hand...I like it!
  21. I’m a lefty, but don’t see the logic in a left handed AR. They would be harder to sell and more expensive to build. I’ve yet to have a brass problem with them. An ambi safety is handy however. I am glad to see left handed components available for those who want them.
  22. As a man who has had shards of steel dug out of his eyeballs, I tend to be a proponent of safety glasses in certain situations. They can actually help.
  23. I can’t believe grown men are on a gun forum discussing the wearing of masks. Man up and live your lives, guys.
  24. You are a hero in my eyes for taking on such a challenge. I wish I had your bravery and strength, but sadly I do not.
  25. I’m not much help and I won’t pretend to know what you’re dealing with, but anytime you need to vent, we’re here for you and willing to listen. May God bless you and your family.
