It’s probably closed for the Wuhan Flu, but the trout hatchery near Dale Hollow dam is worth a visit if you’ve never been there. It appears they stocked the city pond here in Lafayette with trout today. My father and his buddy went up there and caught a bunch the last time they stocked it.

I'm boring. I buy and hold index funds. Not exciting, but this strategy has been very good to me. I have a kid who recently started buying single stocks. He thinks it's awesome. Fortunately, his funds are limited, so the lesson he'll learn shortly won't be too costly.

Go to Lowe’s and get a bag of pumice dust. Pour some in your hand and start rubbing the stock. It will remove the gloss without scratching and leave a pleasant sheen. Edit: or doesn’t look like Lowe’s has it. 0000 brass wool would probably work. Fine steel wool will work if you can’t find anything else. I just don’t like the little whiskers it leaves behind.

Nothing to brag about, but I haven't seen a good deer where I hunt this year. I bought a new dehydrator, and want to see if it works. My patience ran out around 7am this morning.
