  1. What are you looking for? I have a 91/30, an M44, and a bunch of ammo I was thinking about getting rid of as a package deal.
  2. These are referred to as Heavy frame although they are a light and dainty revolver. At the time, Smith and Wesson also made a smaller, lighter "M" frame which was also called the Lady Smith. I would love to find one of those.
  3. On the smith and wesson forum.
  4. Kinda makes a fella think about liquidating.
  5. I bought this at a gun show a few years back. It came with a set of stag grips. I finally located original style grips for it. This was no easy feat. In case anyone isn't familiar, this is a Smith and Wesson Heavy Frame Target Model, also referred to as a Bekeart Model. I'm not sure the year of manufacture, but it is roughly 100 years old, and chambered for 22 Long Rifle. I've always wanted one of these, but never thought i'd actually have one.
  6. The only two natural enemies for a gun is rust and politicians.
  7. You and I are boring.
  8. Now that explains a lot. This is entertaining to watch. Not only did the hedge fund guys poo poo in their nest, so did RobinHood. I’m guessing they’d all like to tale a mulligan right about now. What makes me nervous is that we all know this sort of thing happens all the time. What is the media hiding by covering this story wall to wall?
  9. I wouldn’t surprised if somebody doesn’t turn up missing or suicided over this escapade.
  10. It sure makes hedge funds a lot less appealing; at least in the short term.
  11. How do you predict it will end? Do you see any illegal activity involved? I don't know why, but I really take an interest in this sort of thing.
  12. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/gamestop-extends-meteoric-stock-surge-093729588.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAAhFXxHe2-KbQB7uEpsuVxN2sr2vhrH7JQo26a_uhyt3b3E22tkcOzenDxrQ-b6QL2UJEZOKk20U1hj0WimiCgzuuG3613QO3eW0EY305nVszLmdN8euWfZ1NaP8CMQqhwbuGIERWcblrALZcVq3-F4Lj9jJe5oPibZVECCMq6mx
  13. I find this feud quite fascinating. I'd love to hear your take on what is happening. Do you think government will intervene somehow? I can't wait to see what problems that will cause.
  14. I cannot dispute this.
  15. I would start with a single stage press and upgrade later if you see the need. If you do, you’ll still find uses for the single stage press. I have balance beam scales as well as a cheap little Frankfort Arsenal pocket electronic scale. I compared weights between them for quite a while before I decided to trust the electronic scale. It is more accurate than I have use for. I use it almost exclusively now as it is faster. After nearly 40 years reloading, I’ve yet to find the need to replace my single stage press.
  16. Rock Island Armory knows how to make a 1911. A revolver, not so mich.
  17. The one with him sitting in Archie Bunker’s chair is pretty damn funny.
  18. I guess I’m slow. What’s the deal for all the memes of Bernie Sanders wearing mittens?
  19. My ole pappy says "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".
  20. The price sounds good. Please let us know how you like them.
  21. I vote with my wallet as well. I buy the least expensive consumable that will get the job done in a satisfactory manner.
  22. Cool! Another cartridge we won't be able to find. I'd prefer they design a new primer....one that can be found on dealer shelves.
  23. This I did not know.
  24. I'm pretty sure that if you measure them, you'll find the #11 is larger than the #10. #11's work on my Thompson Renegade rifle, but fall off my repro 1858 Remington revolver.
  25. I do have one pair of Wranglers that fir great. I need to look and see if I can tell what style they are. I think my wife got them out of a bin at Ollie’s maybe. And who are you calling an older guy??!!?
