  1. I did consider a trip to the Upper Peninsula, as I’ve never been, but doesn’t Queen Gretchen still have the place shut down for the ‘rona?
  2. Right, but I find it frustrating that I can hit with a rifle without practice. I remember bows were a similar thing. You had to put in some time woth them regularly to stay proficient.
  3. Mainly because I'm lazy and have been doing other things.
  4. They first built it as a sit down restaurant. Something new Mcdonald’s was trying. It wasn’t bad then. I think it was called The Golden Arch Cafe or something similar.
  5. I’d bet I am shoving the gun in anticipation of recoil. I’ll get it worked out. I just need to shoot more. I’ve fixed it in the past. Just not sure why it keeps cropping back up.
  6. I shoot many different guns, but I’ll make it simple. I can shoot a model 18 Smith and Wesson (22lr) to point of aim all day long. Replace it with a model 19 (357 mag), and I’m shooting to the right. Same frame, grip, weight, etc.
  7. Could someone explain the attraction to lighthouses. My wife makes a big deal out of them. To me they are simply a grain silo with a ladder and a big flashlight.
  8. I don’t care for sitting on a beach either. Savannah is awesome!
  9. It’ll be a week, and We’ve not booked a place yet so I welcome suggestions.
  10. Can I expect big crowds in June?
  11. That's what I was looking for. Thanks. It confirms my suspicions. Now to fix it.....
  12. I have found in the past that if I shoot almost daily, I can shoot pretty accurately, but that ability goes away fast if I go a while without shooting.
  13. I’m encouraged that people are beginning to wake up to the fact that the media isn’t very reliable.
  14. Welcome to reality my friend. Glad to have you here.
  15. Never been here. Wife wants to go in a couple of months. If you could advise on places to see/do/eat and places to avoid. I would greatly appreciate it.
  16. It almost has to be something to do with recoil anticipation.
  17. I am left handed. Lately, I have noticed that while all my 22lr chambered handguns shoot to point of aim. I have begun shooting harder recoiling handguns to the right. The harder the recoil, the further right they shoot. No doubt the problem lies with me and not the handgun. What am I doing wrong, and why am I not having this problem with 22s?
  18. Well this thread took an ugly turn!
  19. Thanks guys!
  20. I’m not mad. I just wish we had a standard to go by. I guess we do... you’re selling, your rules. Would be nice to have them stated in the ad. I’m guilty of not doing that.
  21. Thanks for the alternative view. It does make sense.
  22. We are in complete agreement. I’ve posted I’ll take it on a couple of recent ads only to be told I’m too late. This means I will show up with cash at an agreed to time and place and leave with the item unless it was grossly misrepresented. A bird in the hand...
  23. In my opinion, the fist public “I’ll take it” should be able to buy whatever it is. What is the opinion of the forum?
  24. This is horsechit! I am now completely out of IMR 4895. I have been looking for it for months. It has been available nowhere for no price. Thanks for letting me vent.
  25. If you’ve never eaten here, don’t cheat yourself. This is everything a steakhouse should be. I’m sure glad to see they made it through the pandemic.
