First two games so far. Pickett County finally threw in the towel this year and gave up on having a football team. They are sure enough a small school. When we built a new school in Lafayette, we offered to build it large enough where RBS kids could go there as well. It would have been good for the whole county in my opinion. The folks over there threw a fit and flatly refused it. I do not feel sorry for their football team.

I agree it probably doesn’t hurt. The point I was trying to make is that there are myriad things we can do to make our lives marginally safer, but we weigh the risk/reward and decide it just isn’t worthwhile. I’m somewhat claustrophobic, and a mask makes me feel like I am smothering. I cannot believe breathing one’s own exhaled breath over and over would be very healthy over an extended period of time.

Do you wear one everywhere you go? A vest that is?

If Abbott and Costello were still around...

The wells were still there a several years back. I think TDEC or some environmental outfit made the city cap the wells. I expect the advance of modern medicine reduced the attraction to the thought od sulpher water curing most anything.

I’ve read it was the top U.S. tourist destination around 1900 or so. That’s sure hard to imagine today.

Before my time, but I’ve seen pictures and heard stories. That was pretty much the end of RBS.

The sheriff was on the news last night. He said you could see a “wall of water” coming down the street like a damn broke. Who’s prepared for that?

Face it, dude. Father time is about to take that away from you if he hasn’t already.

If you say so, boss.

I doubt it. John Bozeman

I went in one of those CVS clinics in Florida once. I was covered in poison ivy. Both eyes swelled shut. It was bad. The sign had a short list of what they treated. On the list was poison ivy. I'm in business, right? The chick in the booth took a look at me and said "Damn! You need to go see a doctor!" You know they wouldn't refund my copay?

It ain't no damn fun! I didn't realize I was old until I got a dose of the shingles a couple of years back. I do not recommend them.

I don't much care for either. Johnny B. is awesome in his role. I'm curious if he'd be able to to a 4 hour talk show by himself.

EVERYBODY who employs people is needing help right now. It would sure be a good time to scale back on .gov handouts. Too bad we don't have any leadership at the moment.

Mother nature can be relentless. This is very VERY bad.

AKA Satan, if you're a religious type person.

My old man had a similar procedure a while back. I can't tell you it was pleasant, but I think it did end up helping after a while.

I never considered this. Thanks for the tip. Makes sense. -
Wouldn't help me, Mac. If he'd lie about anything else, he'd certainly lie about his financials. You have way more faith in government officials; especially unelected, unaccountable ones than I do.

LOL! I didn't think anything much about it until I saw your post, but McDonalds at the Hermitage I40 exit has a similar sign. "Paid daily" or something similar. That's fishing on the bottom ain't it?

I enjoyed Brad Staggs when he filled in. I'm not sure how he'd age were he on there long term, but I think he'd have a shot at being a good replacement. Phil is like Rush Limbaugh. You aren't really going to replace him. He had a unique and special talent.

I own some shares of a healthcare oriented mutual fund, and it has been doing great this past year. The difference it this and past money making scams is that this could be jacking with the health and lives of American citizens.

I understand your motivation. I wasn't referring to you. I would sure like to see Faucci's investment holdings and what kickbacks he is receiving.

Mac, I appreciate more than you will ever know your willingness to share your knowledge with us. A lot of it goes over my head, but thank you just the same. The fact you see these vaccines as good carries a lot of weight with me. I know very little about medicine of the metabolic and chemical makeup of the human body. I am a numbers guy. What gives me pause is everything I see points to a small group of folks getting very wealthy from this. I can think of no other reason these folks are pushing so damned hard for everyone to get this shot.
