  1. You didn’t whip out the wallet?
  2. I’m mostly interested in preventing something like this from ever happening again in the future. If there is something in those notes that could help with that, I think keeping them locked away is an injustice. I cannot begin to imagine the grief those involved live with every day, but I’d think they’d want to prevent a repeat of this as well.
  3. In case you haven’t noticed, our government, as well as the media, have recently proven themselves quite untrustworthy. This, coupled with the fact so many folks are adamant the public not see this material makes me think that something very bad is being covered up.
  4. Evidently, we can’t handle the truth!
  5. I agree with you, sir. The fact is, “Shall not be infringed” carries a lot of weight with me.
  6. Neither seems quite legal, wouldn’t you say?
  7. I wouldn't think that by it's self would pass legal muster. One rule for this group of people and another for everyone else. Should everyone not included in this file suit as well?
  8. Here is what is required to sell a firearm in Tennessee to another individual. If you do not have reason to believe the buyer is under age, a convicted felon, or otherwise legally unable to purchase a firearm, you can sell to them. That’s it! He hands you the money, you hand him the firearm. You then both go your separate ways. The end. I’ve bought and sold enough firearms via private individuals to stock a good gun show. Never a single problem. Legal gun owners are as good a group of people to deal with as you will ever find. There is NO legal requirement on you as a seller to do any research on the buyer. If you do not have knowledge of them being legally unable to purchase the firearm, the onus is on them; not you.
  9. We saw Horizon today. It is worth watching, but I wouldn’t call it a great western. I’ll definitely go see the second part though. It is long, and there’s a lot to keep track of. The story line is fair. The cinematography is good and so is the acting. I’d give it a 7 out of 10.
  10. I always thought the pelvic bone would be a large and incapacitating to shoot. Crack that bone and the toughest SOB on earth ain’t going anywhere. Physics won’t allow it.
  11. You guys don't think that was scripted?
  12. We could probably work out a trade.
  13. Elvis was definitely the very worst actor ever to stand in front of a camera. In the female category, the award goes to Sondra Locke.
  14. Same price here in Lafayette today. I'm not sure what happened in Gallatin yesterday.
  15. I wasn’t trying to complain. I just thought a 45 cent jump all at once might have been brought about by some world event I missed. It usually seems to go up or down a few cents at a time.
  16. If he pulled off Elvis AND this part, He’s one helluvan actor!
  17. You know well mine does the same.
  18. I went to Gallatin today. When I went, gas was $2.79. When I left, three hours later, it was $3.24. What did I miss?
  19. Man, I’ve been wondering about you. It’s good to see you post again.
  20. I can heartily recommend The Bike Riders. Tom Hardy didn’t disappoint. Austin Butler put on quite a performance as well. It is an old school movie without all of today’s political correctness. I remain hopeful Hollywood has seen the light. Jodie Comer was great as well. Sadly, we were the only two there.
  21. I've been a Tom Hardy fan since I first saw the movie Lawless. If you haven't seen that one, don't cheat yourself.
  22. I seriously doubt that many members of a Tennessee gun forum have been on fishing expeditions to Slovenia, but stranger things have happened I suppose.
