Thanks for posting. I was not aware of this. I wonder if this applies in any way to employers, schools, etc who mandate such miracle cures as a condition of employment, education, et tal.

See, here is the thing. It isn’t really a debate. No one here is trying to get you to mot take the vaccine. Since you want it, I think it is great that it is available for you. What I don’t like is folks trying to make that same decision for me.

Again, if the vaccine works, and you’ve taken it, there’s no reason for you to care if I’ve had it. If it doesn’t work, why’d you take it, and why should I take it?

I hear ya! I’m retiring at the end of the month. I worked 30 years to get their promised pension and retiree’s insurance. I’m taking it. My boss asked why I was leaving. I told him because I can!

She consulted with her doctor, a friend who is a nurse practitioner, and a cousin who is a pharmacist, and took their collective advice and got the jab. No reaction from the first one, and is scheduled to get the second one next week. To a person, they all recommended the Moderna version, so that's what she got. Did your dad get over it? How's he doing?

This sort of thing can be negotiable with a mom and pop organization, whereas a large corporation issues a policy and doesn’t give a damn if the entire workforce quits over it until their shareholders start bitching. I’m not advocating the advantage or disadvantage of either, but this has been my experience with each.

My boys went with me this morning down to the Cumberland river where it wasn’t crowded. We caught some catfish and bluegills. Not much to brag about fish wise, bit they are more or less grown, and I don’t get to spent much time with them anymore. It was sure fun.
