  1. And a big, loud V twin!
  2. Best I can come up with is to plant more than they can eat. We had some for supper last night. Sweet corn is good!
  3. Holy cow! We’ve got a bunch of corn! I picked all I think we can put up tomorrow. Maybe 1/4 of it. Gonna be a long weekend.
  4. Took mama for a ride this evening. She approved. Cool!
  5. I bought a new tractor battery back in the spring, installed it, and still nothing. Finally found the bolts pulled through the negative battery cable connector. That battery was far from new, but I imagine it still had some years left.
  6. Yeah! It’s a regular Garden of Eden.
  7. Saw am article today proclaiming farts were responsible for the spread of Covid. How long til Faucci comes on tv wearing an m95 undergarment?
  8. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’d rather swim in a pool of Covid than to hear any more about it.
  9. As I remember he just laughed and let him go.
  10. I knew a fella who had an old Dodge truck like that. He got pulled over one day for going too slow. He told the officer "I'll tell you what. I'll scoot over and you can get in and see what you can get out of her."
  11. I have one just like it. Works great.
  12. LOL! I’m $300+ into this “free fix” so far, but really enjoyed the time with my son. He’s starting a career and trying to make a name for himself, so he’s working about 65 hours a week. Between that and his girlfriend, there isn’t a lot of time left for ole dad. I’m glad to help when I can.
  13. LOL! We got my boy’s Toyota back together and it spit, sputtered, and then wouldn’t even crank. Couldn’t hear the fuel pump. Couldn’t find anything we left unplugged. We swapped the relay out with the one in my truck and it ran like new. Swapped them back and it still ran like new. I still can’t hear the fuel pump. I guess it took a little whole for it to prime it’s self. I still don’t know why I can’t hear the fuel pump. Got my Ford back together and it cranked and ran like new immediately. I can hear it’s fuel pump. It’s the one I got at a repo auction for $2700 and has 226k miles. I’m amazed every time I turn the key and something happens.
  14. How about food, fuel, and building materials? These things are a lot more important to the average Joe like me than travel accessories. They are all ip sharply.
  15. Glad I don’t have to work on that.
  16. I think I’ve heard that before now that you mention it. It was parked in the barn, but it looked more like a clean break than a chewed place. I don’t really know for sure. I just spliced them back together. Probably not the best fix, but it works.
  17. Blew my gun trading stash, but we out several miles on them today. Well worth it.
  18. What are ya driving?
  19. We got both of ours back on the road. Looks like something pulled, rubbed, or chewed the wires in two going to the injector on my truck. All I an figure on his is the injector went down and maybe the plug burned out due to lack of fuel or something. Looked like factory plugs. 17 years and 150k miles was probably a good run for them. Thank goodness for code scanners and Rock Auto.
  20. That Mustang seat is big enough for two. If she got her own, how would I know when I’m wrong?
  21. 07 Fat Boy. Rides like a dream.
  22. You are correct, sir. My apologies.
  23. LOL! You really liked that movie.
