I imagine I'll be labeled a liar, but I have been told point blank at a job interview, "We'd love to hire you, but we have to hire a black person." Looking back on it, I'm mighty glad it happened that way, but I sure wish they'd have told me before I drove all the way there and wasted my time and theirs. Hopefully, diversity truly enriched that company.

I understand your point, but on the flip side, I wouldn’t likely hire an IT guy to frame a barn for me just for the sake of diversity. That’s about where this equal opportunity has gotten us so far. I guess what I’m trying to say is that while I understand the basic idea behind it, I’ve also sen it implemented in a real world environment, and it ain’t what was advertised.

I simply want the winning team. If they are all women, great. All black, spectacular. All white males, no problem. Just give me the best; not some quota crap.

I understood what he said. I was, and still am challenging the validity of the statement. That old line “diversity is our strength” is horsechit.

We could argue policy forever, and that's fine. We could also discuss social graces. I get it. There are two things Trump has done for us that would be hard to dispute by anyone honest. 1) He made the Supreme Court have a majority of judges who can actually read and accurately discern our constitution. 2) He has shined a giant spotlight on just how slimy and scandalous D.C. politicians really are. I suspected it before Trump, but not it is crystal clear.

Listen to what the man says and watch what he does, or attempts to do; not what the media tells you about him. I expect you’ll be surprised.

The shell counter is simply a hole in the frame, coupled with numbers engraved into the magazine rotor. If you can lod and unload the magazine, I can't see how it wouldn't work. It may have enough grime built up on it that the numbers aren't visible, however.
