  1. Wouldn’t they fit?
  2. I expect there’s a market for those if you have access to cheap wood and enjoy making them.
  3. Golsn.com has a few. You might stumble across a deal, and if you do, you have to say “I’ll take it!” and head that way immediately. You’re more likely to buy a $1500 bike and spend another $1500 getting it ready to ride. The good thing about a nice one is there isn’t any trouble getting rid of it later if you decide it isn’t what you want.
  4. Can you get a Ural without a sidecar? Looking at their website, it doesn't appear so. Did I read correctly that one model features on demand 2 wheel drive? That's wild!
  5. I think they are mostly 4 strokes these days, Erik.
  6. Much like a fish and ski boat, I never found a do it all motorcycle that did anything well. Your mileage may vary, Erik.
  7. I just rode mine a while. It’s still a bit cool, but tolerable.
  8. I wouldn’t mind riding, but I expect I’m a pretty long ride just to get to where you guys are.
  9. Nice bikes!
  10. Get after it! Be sure and show us when you do.
  11. That takes a while....especially if you're like me and like to eat.
  12. From start to finish, I think it took about three days. There is several hours of hand stitching there. It took a lot of dye too. I’ll buy pre dyed leather if I make a pair of saddlebags.
  13. I did.
  14. Another cold weather project completed. I'm about ready for the weather to break since deer season is over.
  15. I have a neighbor who does fractal burning. I remember when he started. He took apart a microwave I think it was to get the parts to do it. I remember thinking this fool is gonna electrocute himself. He hasn't yet. I think he bought an actual machine to do it with now. Pretty neat stuff. I think your grips look better without the colored resin added.
  16. It's good stuff! I still have a case or so of it.
  17. You can carry here without a permit if you are otherwise legally able to own a handgun. Some other states offer the same, while others require a permit. If you wish to legally carry in one of those states, and they recognize a Tennessee permit, you’ll want to get one. It’s a bit more nuanced than that, but that was my best stab at a short answer. A comprehensive answer would fill a small library and changes often.
  18. I think it would be beneficial if somehow someone in management at Smith and Wesson could receive a link to this thread and read it. I’m not much into semi autos, but will never buy a new Smith and Wesson revolver as long as they insist on installing those damn locks on them. The prices being paid today for the old revolvers are an indication I’m not the only one who thinks this. I hope you get your pistol back soon and it is repaired to your satisfaction.
  19. Good one! I would have sent the wife though.
  20. Hell, if it cracks, glue it back. Life’s too short to worry over such trivial things.
  21. Freezing rain sucks. Good luck with it, guys!
  22. I love the full length stock!
  23. Should work splendidly.
  24. I do too, but this rifle and my muzzleloader gets most of the serious work.
  25. Aw hell, c’mon…let’s see her!
