  1. You'll want a rear sight. I don't really know what to tell you without seeing the rifle, but I can say you'll soon have more money tied up in it than it's worth.
  2. While that would be great, it'll never happen due to the loss of revenue.
  3. This I’ve never witnessed.
  4. What's really cool is you are free to go get more training, which is a great idea by the way, without government mandating it or even dangling a carrot in front of you to urge you on.
  5. That is a prize for sure. It appears to be in excellent condition.
  6. I'm not a golfer, but do admit to being a fair weather fisherman.
  7. Just saw my neighbor climbing on his bike to go for a ride. Makes me feel like a sissy. I can live with that. It’s friggin cold!
  8. There’s a handsome Dan Wesson listed here in the classifieds now.
  9. I haven’t ran into that yet, but I was on a bike at high school one day when school was let out early for snow. We lived way out in the sticks. That was a long, cold ride home. All I ever wore then was a tshirt and a denim jacket. One constant that nearly always holds true for me is the farther you get from home, the harder it rains.
  10. I bought one used and soon found out why. Once I bent the extractor to the proper position where it would work, it turned out to be a pretty nice pistol.
  11. You have the coolest toys!
  12. Glad I did it. You could sink a wide track dozier in it today.
  13. All I did was turn mine. I won't do anything else til probably May.
  14. Finally dry enough to turn the garden spot.
  15. They look good to me.
  16. If you want one, bite the bullet and plunk down the cash for a nice one. They aren’t getting any cheaper, and you won’t ever regret buying quality.
  17. SKSs were $49-59. I still have a 1000 rounds or a Norinco ammo for them. It came in an ammo can for $100 out the door. I’ve a couple of SKSs. Wish I had bought more.
  18. Time travel back to the early 90’s. Gun shows were full of them stacked high on tables. Take your pick…$150.
  19. I expect they put a lot of ad money into sponsoring competitors. At least that’s how the music industry works. I have had good luck with their stuff too; especially for the money. I’m a PSA fan.
  20. Palmetto State holds a 10% share of the carbines. Interesting.
  21. Anybody in the market for a nice, low miles Suzuki Boulevard S40 (650 Savage)? My kid has one he’s going to get rid of once the weather clears up. He moved up to a Sportster.
  22. Wow! Not a bad deal at all.
  23. Year model and hours?
  24. I agree with JustEd. If I do my part, I like to be rewarded with a round hole in the target, sitting directly on the top of where the front sight was. Handgun manufacturers have been able to reliably make this happen for centuries now.
  25. Load the same load, one with a magnum primer and one wit a regular primer and shoot them over a chronograph. That should somewhat answer your question.
