I've used a Crossbreed for eight years now, and always at four o'clock with a Glock 23. I found I adjusted how I sit, and in my car I reduced the lumbar support for some relief. You can try changing the ride height or cant to better fit your body. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

As I said before I enjoy reciprocity with many, if not all, of our reciprocity partners. It would absolutely suck for me to lose that. That said I would rather our 18+ TN residents had the ability to protect themselves in state than for me to protect myself out of state. We have to stick together. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I wonder how the lifetime permit affects reciprocity. It isn't worth it to me if the lifetime permit is not recognized by fewer states than currently do as I travel frequently to many other states. And if I got it and other states refused to recognize it I probably couldn't go back to the periodic renewal. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I think I got this from The Blaze. I hope it comes through in a readable manner. And I don't think a traffic stop is an arrest, just a detainment. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Need help with weapon light for home defense
OngoingFreedom replied to a topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
A home invasion will likely occur in poor lighting, so I got my first Streamlight (TLR-1s) for my shotgun. Secondary purpose is for IFF in case the bump in the night is one of my kids. Actually that was the original, primary purpose, to be honest, even though I have good kids. Lights on defensive guns seemed like a great idea so I kept adding Streamlights. A TLR-1s HP for the rifle, and a TLR-2 HL for my Kel Tec Sub 2000 (currently occupying my pistol at night since I keep waiting for Kel Tec to make the short picatinny rail accessory again). I currently carry a Style PS (pliers & scissors) on the airlines, and bought a Squirt P4 to be ready to roll at the end of April. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD -
Knives on planes
OngoingFreedom replied to itchytriggerfinger's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I love Leathermans. I have a Style PS that has been legal (no blade) and just checked my Juice S2 with a jaded eye. Nope, 2.6 inches. Ordered a Squirt PS4 that is legal. It's great to be able to carry a knife again on a commercial flight. -

Maggart? DEBRA Maggart? Every time I've written her on 2A bills she's been solidly on our side! Is there something I'm missing with her? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I've done it and will continue to do it. Perfectly safe.

Open Carry in TN and laws about showing ID
OngoingFreedom replied to sschrick's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Last month I was hiking in Burgess Falls State Park with my family. I was openly carrying. I was challenged by a park ranger to produce ID and a permit, which I willingly submitted for examination. The DL and permit were summarily examined and returned. I was detained for barely a minute. I submitted because it is illegal to carry a firearm (or fahr-arm) in TN but the HCP was a defense. -

Do any of you gals carry in your purses?
OngoingFreedom replied to Will Carry's topic in Women's Perspectives
I was impressed with a young lady's review of Remora holsters on YouTube so I got one for my wife and my daughter. My wife is now using some of her other purses :-) --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=36.387565,-86.429471 -
Carrying on multi-state trip
OngoingFreedom replied to dm239's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
If you want. Follow Federal law and you'll have no problems, even in Chicago. Fed law does not require breaking your weapon down, only unloaded, encased, inaccessible, separate from ammo. -

I think this will ultimately be good for California. With no viable option for the average Californian to have armed self defense lawsuits pushing for Shall Issue CCW can gain better traction, resulting in better laws. If memory serves that's what was recently rejected by a judge who said, basically, that SI CCW was not needed because one could UOC. Now one cannot.
