  1. I may be in the minority. 357 Sig is my favorite round as far as handgun self defense goes. Yes it is expensive and yes it is harder to find. It will continue to get harder now that the TWRA and State Police are going or have gone away from it. Fact is the reason they are/have gone away is price alone. At least that’s what my neighbor that is a TWRA agent says. Not performance. Not reliability issues. It is a fantastic round. It is a fast round. My 2k round test drive of my Gen 3 Glock 32 has stood up wheel with no ill effects. Plus another 5-700 rounds through same gun with a Glock 23 barrel. Plus another 1K rounds with an aftermarket Glock 19 upper. Plus 3-500 rounds with an Advantage Arms 22lr upper. I have just under 1200 rounds of 357Sig tucked away with a few hundred of defensive rounds. I recently purchased a Glock 27 and immediately purchased a Glock 33 barrel. I have ran 50 or so rounds through the “subcompact” and only feel more aligned with the 357Sig round. It has grown on me and now it is my “go to” round. When I’m in public I have something chambered in 357Sig. At home I have something’s chambered in a rifle round.
  2. I almost wish we had a system like Israel. To where every 18 year old citizen was required to do a year in military service. To receive weapons training, to learn all the tools that make someone less ignorant of arms, the way the world really works, and how to defend themselves from evil.
  3. I wondered this after the "constitutional carry". I'm not going anywhere, I know better than to carry at a school, and I do carry at a park if there is a bunch of people there. I would risk it for my and my communities safety. Foe me, (I know I may be retarded) the only reason I see for a legit carry permit, is the training. Training is worth more than anything. I would take a guy who has trained with a brand new Hi Point before I would an idiot with a Taran Tactical (I know I have small jewels) Pit Viper. Good educational training is priceless and invaluable.
  4. I agree. I don’t like crowds. Anywhere at any time. Sad to see this is what is needed these days. It is what it is now. I am starting to see signs more and more about no firearms being allowed in businesses. I refuse to give up a right under our constitution to attend, shop, dine, or anything! My Doctors office in Lenoir City has one of these signs up now. In the same small city that just a few weeks ago, an idiot walks into Walmart and pops off 8-10 rounds in the air with his rifle. Thankfully no one was injured or hurt. After having a serious talk with my Dr, it seems that her insurance company required it. Although I understand why she had to install this sign, it still means that I will have a different doctors office the next time I’m in need. Do NOT sacrifice your rights for anything. Church, Dr office, or grocery store. You may be the guy/gals who stops evil from attacking your community. Heads on a swivel guys.
  5. That’s because this was supposed to be closed when it sold a month ago.
  6. When it comes to guns, I don’t believe there is a difference in want and need. …just in case my wife reads this. Ive noticed that same thing with the rebate emails. It’s hard to sale a gun you bought new 2 years ago when the newest model is 1-150.00 cheaper. From our classified section, it doesn’t seem to stop people from attempting this. Most of the people who keep up with pricing plus rebates know how volatile pricing or anything with our community is. Just a few weeks ago, a rumor about LC not selling to civilians skyrocketed 5.56 NATO cost from .35/round to nearly and some are way past 1.00/round. Local and online shops immediately marked their prices up although the ammo they marked up was purchased at the normal prices. A tiny rumor made that happen. Now of course LC will not comment one way or another as far as Guns and Gadgets are reporting. Happens that way after a loser kid shoots innocents, the cost and availability of our beloved AR rifles explode also. I just wonder if manufacturers will start a rumor to boost sales like it appears LC has done.
  7. Definitely here just for the pictures! That sucks.
  8. I would definitely trade a used 43 year old left leg for this. Had surgery on the knee 3 times. Has a limp sometimes. But it still kinda works…..mostly.
  9. Seeing if anyone has a level 2 or 3 duty holster for a full size Glock with light. Would love a Blackhawk T series with hood. Optic cut a plus but not needed.
  10. I agree with your assessment Mr Scotty! A Navy buddy of mine said you really only need 5 guns. Good quality daily pistol, AR for home defense, Ruger 10/22 for small game hunting, pump action shotgun for hunting, and a decent bolt gun for med game hunting. Weather the world is good or it is a SHTF situation you have what you need. I have since realized I don’t need his negativity in my life! But have found myself doing exactly what you’re talking about. Down sizing to 2-4 pistols, 2-3 fighting rifles, shotgun, bolt gun, and a 10/22. I think I have 22lr conversions for the ARs and Glock 19, 23,and 32. Still after a few but they are more of inquisitive thing than actual need. I’d like a decent 2011 but maybe just want to shoot one for a bit. I’d like a small Sig p320 to use as a backup to my M17 on my grocery shopping end of the world kit. That way they both use the same magazines. Other than that I think I have everything I need. Just do t tell my boss lady.
  11. Looks like I’m gonna have to sell my body again!!! I was on the straight and narrow!!
  12. Price is now more realistic. Forgive my ignorance.
  13. Finally got pictures situated!!
