I’m very interested in this. I’m a GOA member but have always thought of them as a law specific group. This is to be there first convention and I’m interested. I’ve been to the NRA convention but always felt like they was “elite” and the donors were the minions and peasants. Perhaps with all of the corruption is the reason why I switched full support over to GOA. Just checking out to see if anyone is going. It’s the 17&18 of August at the Knox convention center.

BNIB Glock 34 in OD green. Brand new. Will come exactly as a new one does. 525.00 firm. Only trade considered is 9mm Glock MOS versions 19,19X,17, and 45. Much rather sale. This was a regrettable buy as I overlooked it was a non MOS. The green is beautiful though. East Tennessee area. Knoxville/Oak Ridge

VOTED best benefactor every year that I have voted, in an election that I put on. Deal with confidence!!

First off, I had and still have no idea how to price this gun. It was part of a trade. It is a complete Jagerworks G34 built for competition. Stipled frame, extended controls, magwell, tuned trigger, fiber optic front sight with black in rear. I don’t know what it takes to shoot competitively but for me this would work. It genuinely has the best feeling trigger that I have felt in a Glock pistol. Really nice Jagerworks slide. I ran a mag through it yesterday and had to talk myself into not keeping it. Fantastic pistol. Will come with 3-17rnd Glock magazines, 3-17rnd Magpul Pmags, Glock case etc. I think 750.00 is more than fair but open to reasonable offers. Trades considered are 9mm Glocks in MOS form. Optic ready p320 and p365. ARs RIFLES not pistols, .223/5.56. 308 ARs, 5.56/.223 ammo, 7.62x51/.308 ammo. Those are my preference but open to offers. East Tennessee meetings.

Up for sale is a beautiful AK that was built by professionals to try and get close to a feeling of an AR style rifle. After a ton of cash it is very close. Very. Rifle started out as a basic 800.00 polymer furnitured VSKA AKM. Pretty plain but it worked. AR style buffer tube and stock, US Palm grip, single metal mag. That’s it and that’s all. The only part that is still VSKA is the receiver alone. Upgraded trunion, barrel, bolt and bolt handle, gas block & tube, enhanced safety selector, ribbed dust cover. All from Soviet Arms aka PSA. Kalashnikov USA (CMMG)“drop in” trigger. 2-2.5lbs pull weight. Midwest Industies ALPHA front rail system and side mounted optic rail and optic rail mount. Lantac Drakon muzzle brake. Magpul Zukov folding stock, grip, Magpul sling. BCM fore grip, Sig Sauer Romeo 7 red dot 10-30rnd Magpul mags, 1-20rnd Magpul mag. 1-30rnd Palm metal mag. I do have some ammo available for purchase/trade after rifle is sold. Willing to trade for a decent AR platform rifle. DD,BCM,LMT, other "premium" brands of AR. etc. Would be interested in a decent P320. Plus or minus cash on either end. 9mm Glocks are a plus! 1000.00 Cash price is FIRM for rifle, mags, OEM parts only. EAST TENNESSEE KNOXVILLE area but work has me a bit everywhere on the eastern side of Tennessee.

Locally here the ATF zero tolerance policy has all my guys scared to death of making a mistake on paperwork for even just a transfer and end up losing their livelihood. I think it’s stupid but I understand. Hell they don’t really do anything of value when doing transfers. Just risk. So I understand.

I agree with Ray. The last 2 I have bought have been locally at Rural King for 62.00 out the door. Much better than buying online, shipping, tax, then the stupid 40+ in transfer fee now. Rural King has them for 42.00 IIRC, BG-10.00. Taxes makes it a much better option than online for me anyway.

IT WAS me!!!!! I think so anyway. I thought we as men had settled this sir. I was looking for something, you had that something, we started to text, you send pictures of 2 of the something’s I was looking for, I ask if both could be purchased, you say yes and send prices. I think prices are fair, I give you my schedule for the evening, you give me yours, I didn’t want to travel through the mess that is Knoxville traffic. Not during a stupid insane work day anyway. I inform you that I would NOT be buying your something’s as I did NOT want do the traffic today, you remarked comically but said OK and NO Problem. From my point of view, we had never agreed on a deal, although we were close in my opinion, we just couldn’t come to terms with a meeting for today’s schedule. Later you offered to travel to Oak Ridge but by then I was ok with doing the blue label program and buying a new one. Not because of anything about our conversation but because I know I can stop by a trusted shop in Lenoir City that is on my way home. By the time all of your calls and meeting were canceled and you could actually meet me within reason, I already called and had one put aside at the gun shop. I was under the understanding that we got close but that’s all. Again I apologize for that. If EVERYTHING is agreed upon then I agree one should not decide not to complete transaction. Unconditionally. A man’s word is a man’s word. I again apologize if you honestly believed and honestly felt we had come to terms with everything. I would have much rather you let me know of the imagined agreement and that you felt slighted, I assure you that was never the intent. I apologize again for your ill feelings and your obvious several dealings throughout your wheeling and dealing. I wish you the very best in your sales and everything you do sir. -
Purchased new. Thanks

Thoughts on NRA, FPC, GOA, etc
JohnSutton1980 replied to JohnSutton1980's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I had not thought of it that way. At the very least they do still serve a purpose if that is the goal. Although seems to be an awful big organization to be a decoy. I would also think there has to be a better way to use that big of an organization. As small at GOA is they seem to be getting stuff done. Sure would be nice if the NRA of the 70s and 80s was still around. They was getting stuff done then too. Except the machine gun ban. We won’t count that. -
Thoughts on NRA, FPC, GOA, etc
JohnSutton1980 replied to JohnSutton1980's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Let me first say that I’m simple. I’m not hyper intelligent. I went in the Army for god sakes! The only savior for me is that I didn’t go into the Marine Corps!! I don’t know a whole lot about salaries etc. I don’t think that 16% of income is bad for salary. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe there is more to it. Just don’t seem a crazy amount. I would still rather have people that would do the job for free but with bills as we all have, I would expect people that are doing “company” work 24/7 to be able to pay those bills. Not talking about NRA level yachts but a median level of salary. We all know it’s more than that! I would be interested in learning more about family connections as far as salaries in the GOA. -
Howdy fellers and ladies. Just wanted to see, if like normal, my opinion is on the fringe or if I may be closer to reality now. my issue is with good, hard working folks donating money to help fight the crazies from restricting things that if we really ARE following the constitution , are said NOT to be infringed. First off is the long tenured NRA. ALWAYS happens. When no one is looking, someone always gets caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Never fails. Although we expect them to operate within reason, lobby for the needs of its members, and be an honest person with upstanding integrity. We know that when anyone is paid millions to do what they would do for free, they always want more. Don’t matter what it is. EVERY single time. Not that it has finally happened to the NRA but, it seems to be the first time there was wide spread knowledge about it. To me seems like ROT. Needs to be cut completely out. ALL of it and start over. Seems as crooked as Hillary’s email server or Orange mans accounting books. Can’t be fixed needs total destruction, lessons learned and rebuilt totally if at all relevant anymore. With the likes of GOA and FPC (who are actually doing the things NRA is supposed to) why is there a need for a corrupt NRA anymore? I have failed to renew my membership for this reason. My donations have started to go to GOA and FPC. Although it’s hard to completely entrust because of the corruption seen at the NRA. I’m guessing it will be there for a while. If the GOA was able to get so many things accomplished with small group of donators, can you imagine if they had equal backing as the NRA? I honestly don’t remember the last time the NRA was relevant but kept renewing my membership because that’s what we do in my family. I guess with all the crazies, window lickers, tree huggers, and other democrats, to me our rights have become more important to defend. I would rather it be defended by honest people. Just my rant!! Am I on the fringe again? Too much truth?
