  1. Dang it!!! I really need to get faster on my draw!!!
  2. Hell if you find out it’s not something you love, there are always stuff out there to make it fit the 17/34 mags flush again. Or even a new Timberwolf frame etc. I probably personally would have went a different route than the chop but I’m interested in seeing how it turns out. I’ve heard you can use a p80 compact frame or a timberwolf compact frame, g34 slide and a lone wolf 19xl barrel/ or I think a gen 5 34 barrel. Probably would have been more expensive but not a permanent chop to a Glock frame. I say that but want the hump gone on my g32!
  3. Update me when you get this back. It seems hard to find a plastic gunsmith here in ETenn. Several I’ve spoken with refuse to work on “plastic” guns. But I’m sure they still prefer a carb over efi and rabbit ears with tin foil over cable too! Either I get rid of my 32 hump or I have to buy a Glock clone to make it “fit” me a bit better.
  4. I know the 80% stuff and poly 80 are a hot topic but… I recently completed a compact version of the p80 and wow I am in love. Maybe more than I have been with any gun before. Maybe it’s in the construction of it. Maybe it’s that I placed each component for a specific reason. I believe I finally have that one that will never leave home. It’s me and it’s mine. It’s even perfect. mostly I consider myself just a steward of specific guns. Can’t take them with me. But the new build will definitely go with me!
  5. I am a HUGE fan of Gunnys in Maryville! Volunteer is good in Lenoir City, 2nd Amendment in Lenoir City is sketchy. SMKW in Sevierville is wayyy overpriced for everything but probably cater to tourist. Bud's Gun Shop in Sevierville is ok but more of a range than a shop. Not much inventory. Knoxville Tactical is good also. But my favorite is between Gunny's in Maryville and Volunteer Firearms in Vonore,
  6. For sure one of the most "functional artistic" slides I have seen.
  7. Dang it!! I so needed this! I ended up getting another kit.
  8. Still available!!!
  9. I just got my Trijicon RMR in, my slide in, was going to throw it all together and start playing and practicing but remembered my frame is STILL being coated! Was supposed to be done last Friday!! That’s ok we can blame the pandemic, democrats, republicans, millennials, and even the news!! Not sure why people no longer do what they say and say what they do!!
  10. Hey guys. I know this is a hit button topic. I’m probably more of the lines of if it is not in the constitution then it CAN NOT be law. I know the p80 stuff was part of recent Stalinism that cam out of the White House sans the legislature branch. Can anyone with accurate knowledge explain what the actual law of the land is currently? I know it was being caught in court but I don’t know what to do until it is settled. Or is it settled? Thanks guys!
  11. Bump for better pictures! Finally!
  12. Bump for trade offers
  13. I have a newer Gen 3 Glock 32. Using a new Glock 23 barrel. With the OEM slide just night sights. LWD slide with Trijicon optic MRM cut for a 19 with Threaded barrel. Also a Advantage Arms 22lr conversion. I know that’s a lot but basically all on the same frame. I can use 4 different calibers. 2 for EDC and 2 for plinking! I would say, that I sir, have the end all be all pistol!
  14. What magazine does it take?
  15. I was thinking along the same lines. Maybe the Gucci Glock guys save a few bucks with them. The few shadow systems glock-a-likes I have seen do look like the “movie” guns. maybe it is just another “option” for gun buyers. Maybe my own opinion is just that companies are replicating instead of innovating. I can’t buy a new Chevy truck and put new wheels on it and call it “John Sutton Truck Company” to each his own I guess.
  16. Yes my thoughts exactly. I have a new gen3 g32. Since acquiring it I purchased a Glock 40s&w barrel, 9mm conversion barrel, several ETS mags for all calibers so far, and just placed an order for a 22lr conversion kit. So I have a 4 different caliber pistol kit. 9,40, and 22lr are easier enough to get a hold off. I WANT to use the 357Sig round!! I have just a WWB 50rnd box, 20rnd of Speer Gold Dot. Yesterday I stopped at Volunteer Firearms in Vonore TN and bought 2-20rd boxes of Parabellem Ammo. That was the first shop that had any! It was 1.00 a round.
  17. I am liking the term radical!! Especially since my own beliefs are aligned with most of the country. Not withstanding the loudest group on the right as well as the loudest group on the left. MOST of America just wants to provide for there families and be left alone. With little as oversight as possible. Unless of course they show to skirt those boundaries and began to adversely affect others whom are trying to find their pursuit of liberty as well.
  18. I agree! Mostly anyway. Except for the medical. I firmly believe the ONLY reason of the medical device/care companies choose the US as home or become venders to us companies is because they become millionaires here in the us instead of a cog in the wheel, part of the government, or a government subsidy in there own country. Because in the good old USA, money matters more than healthcare. Perhaps that’s a streak of socialist in my conservative outlook! I don’t think people (all people) shouldn’t have to choose between rent, food, or medicine/treatments) again to be honest I’ve been called both a liberal republican as well as a conservative democrat.
  19. If heard that from folks that have actually used it! I have search several shops and find that it’s pretty difficult to find. When you do find it, generally it’s in HHP not FMJ. The cheapest I have found around Knoxville is about a dollar a round.
  20. Ok guys and gals. I’ve been disconnected for a bit on gun stuff. I am a huge glock fan. They are ugly and never quite fit the hand just right but they are almost indestructible, stupid reliable, and IMO the best gun out there. I’ve learned they now allow people to make knock off versions of Glocks. Some even call them clones. My question is why do they seem to be more expensive!! A few I have looked at (shadow systems mainly) have been more expensive than a REAL Glock. I don’t get it. Please help me understand
  21. I lived here before. Seems like about 10-12 years ago. Work likes to up root me every now and then. But now I am done! I’m here till the wheels fall off! I will continue my search! I do thank you for your info.
  22. Yes I have learned that when you hear something on the internet, realize the person is probably just repeating something they heard on the internet. It’s getting hard to find people that want to share real life experiences. Very easy to find people who like to repeat things without verifying if it actually true or not first.
