  1. I just got an ASAP too. Did you happen to call Reloaders Bench to see if they had any multitools? Looks like I might have to wait a week to tighten it.
  2. I think one law refers to criminals not being able to sue you if you are justified in defending you, your family, and your home, while the other refers to you accidentally killing or hurting an innocent 3rd party while defending your home. Example, you are shooting at a bad guy in your home and a round strikes a sleeping neighbor. What the hell do I know though.
  3. I was there last month. I stayed at the Monte Carlo for 6 days, carried all 6 days with no issues. It is an open carry state, but I wouldn't suggest that on the strip. Lots of sheeple from California and you might get asked to leave from your hotel, and that would be a huge burden. Off the strip, OC all you want. If a building is posted it's not legal, UNLESS it's a government building. If you get made in a building that is posted all they can do is ask you to leave. If you don't leave fast enough that's where you will get in legal trouble. Now a Pro Tip: For the most part the strip is pretty safe. However I learned a very important lesson while in Vegas. My Mom and my Wife were giving me crap (My Mom because she's scared of guns, and my Wife because I was printing and she was afraid we would get asked to leave) about carrying the first day there. I decided to care more about what they thought, and please them instead of being a responsible Husband and Father. Right after that discussion, I left my gun in the safe and walked by myself to meet everybody at a restaurant. I wasn't even 100 feet from the hotel when 3 guys pulls up in a car right next to me, somewhat blocking my way and asks me if I want to buy a watch. There was nobody around, and judging by the way they were looking at me, and sizing me up, I felt this was going to end up bad. I instinctively went for my gun on my hip. It was the WORST feeling not having my gun. As soon as the driver saw me reach for my hip they took off around the corner. Not even 50 feet from that spot, 30 seconds later, another D-Bag pulls over next to me and offers me a dime bag of weed. I didn't feel threatened by this guy so it was such a big deal, but still. I told him to go pound sand and he did. I decided to go back up to my room and grab my gun. I felt really stupid for leaving it at the hotel, and mostly for giving in to other people. Never again.
  4. Damn! I can't decide who to like more. The Buy a truck get a free AK-47 guy, or this guy.
  5. God bless this man. Totally made my day.
  6. PUSH Pack | Bags & Backpacks | 5.11 Tactical Here you go.
  7. 5.11 Push Pack. It's a man purse but the ladies love it.
  8. Took the family out to O'Charleys as we've never been there before. Food was alright, the soup was off the chains though.
  9. LMAO x 10000000
  10. I just ordered a Del Ton kit the other night. I should have it by the time we get our tax return in January, so I went all out. I just got to figure out which Eotech I want.
  11. Thanks, I just picked up 4 from Reloaders Bench in Mount Juliet. Thanks for the offer though.
  12. Grats man! It took me 23 days from getting finger printed to receive my permit. Don't forget to call. Have you decided what holster you're going to wear?
  13. Thanks Schadenfreude.
  14. I have absolutely no idea on the science of sights. With that said, will my accuracy suffer, or is there any con to having flip up sights that specifically mount on the hang guard instead of the gas block? In other words, is it better to have the two metal sights as far as they can get away from each other, or does that not really matter? Also, should I stick to one manufacture for sights or should I be fine if I have two different sights from different manufacturers (front and rear mounted on hand guard)? My ultimate goal is to have an Eotech sight on my rifle, but have back up steel sights. I don't want them to co-witness cause I think that would throw me off. Thus the flip up sights. And while I have you here , are Eotech sights only for close range, or can I effectively use them as far as my eye sight allows? Sorry for all the noob questions I'm just over whelmed picking parts for my rifle. Thanks again for your help guys and gals!
  15. For a second there I thought he was going to jump in the water.
  16. Awesome! I'm a big fan of Hero Gear myself. I agree, totally worth the drive.
  17. You are nucking futs dude. I would have **** my pants hanging out of a helo like that.
  18. I'm sure I'm going to come off as a turd but I really am trying to help you. What other skills do you have besides being an aircraft mechanic? How far are you willing to travel? What kind of pay are you looking for? How much education / Training do you have? Are you willing to do something different than work on planes? It's cut throat out there right now. "I need a job" isn't really going to cut it. If you are interested I can get you in contact with an employment service that helps you update your resume, gives you interview training, tips, and helps you look for a job. All free of course, and not catches.
  19. You guys are awesome, thanks for all the info.
  20. Awesome! I didn't even know about this site. Thanks!
  21. Athens is a drive, but thanks for the heads up. I'll check out the store in Castilian springs. Thanks!
  22. Can anybody recommend some good ammo storage boxes? I have one of those military ammo boxes and I really like how tight the seal is on it, but I can't seem to find any where that sells them. I know Plano makes some but the seal isn't tight at all. Any suggestions?
