I’d give you a good price on my full-size, and that would be just so I could get one with a threaded barrel! Shoot me a message if interested.

wanted WTB or WTT for Browning BDA .380
Rasputin replied to drice0517's topic in Firearms Classifieds
Love the Beretta version, I have the 84BB. Liked it so much I got the 81BB in 32. I see BDAs more rarely on Gunbroker, though they can be found there in Used/Excellent condition for around the $6-700 mark. Just in case one doesn’t show up locally. Good luck! -
I think it’s actually marked sold

for-sale Custom "Samurai Edge" Beretta 96 Brigadier
Rasputin replied to gammon's topic in Firearms Classifieds
Hey, everything I know came from the video I posted above. In case you can’t see it, search youtube for “Caliber Conversion Beretta 92/M9 and 96” by a user called JaredAF. To summarize his presentation, it will work “90%” by swapping a 92/9mm barrel and magazine. The extractors are different, and so to be “100%” reliable, you should also swap in a 92 slide with the 9mm extractor. At that point, you can also swap in 9x21 or .30 Luger barrels and run those calibers with no modifications. To be clear, though I own many Berettas, I do not own the 92 or the 96! I just watched the video -

Zoomed in on and frame, it is 22LR. Nice gun, I have the Tomcat (32). GLWS. -

Great caliber for this size gun. Find yourself a little closer to Nashville and I will be happy to take it off your hands. GLWS.

for-sale Custom "Samurai Edge" Beretta 96 Brigadier
Rasputin replied to gammon's topic in Firearms Classifieds
I really like the Samurai Edge look too. Well done. I was curious about the 96/92 conversion. Apparently yes, it’s super easy to go from a 96 to a 92 and Beretta even sold a 96 kit that included all the conversion parts. Just a barrel swap and 9mm mag gets you 90% there. -

Thanks smg01, because if I bring home another revolver I think my wife will kill me. I spent the whole night resisting the temptation to send OP a message! Such a cool little gun.

What a beautiful firearm. This was possibly carried in the Boer War or any of the other seething conflicts of the British Empire of the time. If anyone else is interested, this page has some historical details: https://lsbauctions.com/4181/rare-webley-scott-w-g-model-of-1889-blue-6-double-action-revolver-mfd-1890-1891-antique/ Apologies for being off topic and GLWS

Looking for good places around Nashville for FFL transfer
Rasputin replied to custombuild's topic in General Chat
Probably worth noting that Music City Pawn has gone up to $40 for FFL transfer + $10 background check. That said, their Nolensvile shop handled my gunbroker transaction very smoothly and they called me 5 mins after delivery. And they’re convenient locations. -
Really depends on the gun. My LCP II 380 with a 7rd extended magazine and hogue grip is a heck of a lot easier to handle than the bone stock model, without adding much heft.

Here in Nashville there’s finally some common calibers on the shelves of my local stores. Less common calibers are still hard to find in person. Online I can find MOST calibers. Prices are still pretty high though.

Hey all, figured an introduction couldn’t hurt. Been in TN for 20+ years, first in Wilson County and now living in Nashville. Picked up my first firearm in high school when my girlfriend’s dad shoved a makarov into my hands and said “think you can hit that beer can?”… which I did. My dad got a couple firearms back when we had 10 acres and plenty of crabapples to shoot at. Since then I spent some time overseas and dad sold the land and most of the guns, and so I went a good decade without shooting anything at all. All I had left was a 22 plinker and an 1891 argentine mauser sitting in my office when the pandemic hit. Picked up an LCP II as a “#### hits the fan” gun but had never even fired it when we almost got broken into in broad daylight last October. Nobody was hurt and little was taken, but it made me think hard about being prepared for a self-defense situation. Since then I’ve been to a couple of training classes, shot at the range a few times, and picked up a Beretta PX4 to train with. Honestly I had forgotten how much I love to shoot, and I’ve learned a LOT more about myself and my capabilities since investing the time and money in preparation over the last few months. As far as firearms go I’m looking at picking up a few more handguns, starting with a revolver. Not much need for long guns in the city, although I would love to get into skeet shooting. I’m interested in competitive shooting but I reckon I’m a long way from being good enough to compete! Anyway thanks for having me here. I’ve learned a lot from this forum so hope to stay a while, make some friends, and contribute as much as I can!
