Price dropped and willing to sell individual items.

I am selling this Multicam plate carrier (manufacture unknown) and 4 plates from AR500 today. These were purchased back about 4-5 years ago and with the exception of a couple of range days (literally 1 or 2) these have stayed on a hanger in the back of my closet as this was a backup set. The plates are all level III+ ASC and are rated up to M80 Nato ball at 3,100 feet per second. I may have some odds or ends mag pushes to accompany if interested (I wouldn't charge extra). Nothing wrong with set. I just need to make room in the wallet for more guns and I have other plates/carriers. The big plates are the 10x12 multi curves and the two smaller side plates are the 6x8 curved side plates. Currently to buy a plate carrier with this armor from AR500 is around $650 so I will be asking $450 OBO.

This item is a S&W .22/32 hand ejector pistol, commonly called (erroneously) a Bekeart. This particular pistol appears to have been made in approximately 1914-1919 since it has the two screw stock which was discontinued in 1919 but it has the logo on the right side which occurred in 1914 and the serial number is below 321,000 which was produced in 1920 when they first began heat treating the cylinders. This makes this gun about 106 years old as well as not technically a true Bekeart as it was not shipped to Mr Bekeart. Cosmetically there is nothing wrong with the gun whatsoever. The grips are original and unblemished walnut. The frame still maintains a high glossy finish for the majority of the pistol and the function of the gun is still in great shape. Mechanically the only "defect" I can find is that the hand ejector, while still 100% functioning, is not as smooth as it used to be. I will see if I can resolve some of this prior to sale with some TLC. The trigger is still incredibly smooth and crisp and all components are tight with no wobble or other defect in fit/finish. I am selling this gun on behalf of my pastor who inherited this firearm from the estate of his father in law. Since my pastor is not a gun guy he has asked for my help in selling the gun and I am obliging. I can meet for a sale anywhere from Franklin north up to Whitehouse/Portland area. The pastor is willing to be present at the sale if requested but if his presence is desired by you the buyer the meet would need to happen closer to Portland where the church is as he is pretty tied up there at the church literally 7 days a week. Asking $1500 as the catalog lists $1250 for a "fine version" of the gun and $2,000 for an excellent and I think this gun falls in-between those two terms.

For those of you who are interested. I am posting the firearms for sale today.

I did not post them to the S&W forum as the standard catalog appeared pretty cut and dry in its identification.

Actually, he told me about this when he sent the pictures. That is just a reflection of the trees as he was outside when he took the picture. the nickel plating is not cracking (at least not to the untrained and unaided eye). I think he (the pastor for clarification) is leaning towards selling most of the remaining items. I will be posting them in the classified section but I have not been given the go ahead to "officially" list them as of yet.

So, I looked over my new handy dandy Standard Catalog and have deduced that one of the guns is a 1877 Model One and a half 32 caliber centerfire with a 3" barrel. The second is a (date pending) Model 2 38S&W with a 3 1/4" barrel. Both have the original grips and all and are in great condition especially considering these things are 140+ years old. I will be discussing with my preacher what he wants to do sale wise but in the meantime I greatly appreciate everyone's help in ascertaining what exactly I was dealing with.

I did get the fourth edition. Whenever Amazon delivers it to my door I will be heading over to the pastors house to give the guns another look over

So I do not have the guns in front of me to double check. As far as I could tell there was zero markings on the second gun other than the S&W logo on it. I can try to swing by his house again once my copy of the standard catalog arrives today or monday.

I appreciate all the help. I have created an account with the smith and wesson forum and I am awaiting activation from the mods before I can post over there. I will try to keep this thread in mind for the curious among you who are looking for a more info.

So I ran with your scofield thought, again, just comparing cosmetics but it appears it may not be a scofield but rather a 2nd model (scofield was 3rd model). Evidently 2,000 model 2's were made with the spur trigger. Those were supposedly chambered in 38 S&W so I may have to find one of those to see if they fit the cylinder. Appreciate it. The handles between the two are slightly different so if anyone has any other thoughts on what it could possible be I would love to hear suggestions.

I guess I should note these eject as you break the pistol to load, not exactly a hand eject as its controlled by that break over action itself. Cylinder and front sight as well as everything in front of those breaks forward and rotates on the pin you can see in the picture on the bottom leading edge.

My pastor recently inherited several firearms after the death of a family member. Knowing I am a gun guy he reached out and asked me to help him. I have had pretty good luck going through the collection and identifying most of the pieces in the collection. But I have two pistols that I cannot identify. I was hoping someone here could help me figure out what exactly they are so I can help the pastor figure out if he wants to keep or sell them. One has neither a serial number or caliber marked on them just the S&W logo, the other has a serial number (62505) but again no caliber. I will attach pictures below. I called Smith and Wesson and the representative on the phone said my best bet is to contact the S&W historical society because he "can't see what a serial number that old would belong to." Any help would be appreciated. First two pictures are 62505. Second two pictures are the pistol with no serial number.

if it wasn't that I literally just bought s gun last week I would scarf this up. Beautiful looking rifle. GLWS.

Possibly but unlikely. Unless it is piston AR around 8" 300blk not really interested.

that's true. But some people (I know two or three) don't want to be on any list. They just want to fly under the radar and not be bothered. I already am on the ATF NFA list thanks to our friends at Dead Air and I will be SBRing my two braced pistols. But I also know some people will be scalping others at the last minute. My goal is to help people who don't want to be on a list get a square deal. I may not be able to pay 100% of what something is worth but I will try to do as best I can to help those guys and girls out to get most if not all of its actual value.

I am sure most of you are like me and not looking to sell your braced pistol. However, if anyone wants to sell theirs prior to the amnesty period expiring (assuming it standup to legal challenges of which I dubious) I am willing to help you out in a way your friendly ATF agent will not. Depending on what you have I will not be able to pay full price, for example I can't pay 1800 for your brand new CMMG. But if you have a braced pistol in 308 Win, 5.56 (2.23 wylde) or 45ACP and you're willing to be flexible we may be able to cut a deal where I get a braced pistol and you get some cash instead of having to register or destroy the weapon. Ideally I am looking for AR platform but I am open to other platforms for those three calibers. I do have a TN DL, an enhanced CCP, and I am in the Nashville area.

I will now accept offers for specific pieces of the set rather than selling as a block.
