  3. I feel like a lot of people either disregard, discount, or do not adequately appreciate the Sig P938 pistols. I have had mine for..... 6 years? I've never had a single malfunction or other issue. Maybe its a "1911 style" pistol and so I'm being to nit picky since everyone loves a good 1911 but I see people selling P938's all the time and it always seems like they are slow to be picked up. Conversely everyone nowadays seems to be wanting a SigP365 or some such "new gun." No offense to those new polymers but the P938 with extended mags is a great pocket pistol with no printing even in athletic shorts.
  4. as a relatively low cost/low hassle option I use the EVA DRY bundle. It comes with two separate units I can place in different parts of my safe and they "charge" for about 2 hours and are then good for a month or two. Doesn't matter if I lose power, there is no mechanical parts to break, and if for some reason something goes bad its $50 to get a new pair ($25 each) so it's pretty economical. I have had this for coming up on 2 years and my safe has zero problems despite being in my garage which is usually open to outside air with me working out of it.
  5. I was just perusing around the inter webs and found out mira safety makes a level 4 armor plate. Mira claims this armor will even stop armor piercing 308/30.06. I have found some minor reviews on youtube but I didn't know if anyone here has any and has possibly tested it or knows of a quality review. I usually don't buy plates from a company that makes masks, but $250 a plate is a tempting offer.... https://www.mirasafety.com/products/mira-tactical-level-4-body-armor-plate IDK if link will work but Mira's web page is easy to navigate and locate the plates in question
  6. willing to hear counter offers if you feel $500 is too high. PM me and we can work something out if it's a reasonable offer.
  7. No no no I didn't take it as an insult. You are good. I am just shocked I looked over something so obvious. It is a nickel plated version. I haven't done so yet but I will be looking over my standard catalog to make sure I can accurately say when it was made, any other information, etc. From my understanding thus far, the nickel version were not produced in the 1910's where I initially thought this gun was made.
  8. Holy cow. My mistake. I am so embarrassed. I pulled up my standard catalog and realized I had completely missed the fact that heavy frame targets are blued not nickel. I will pull this ad until I can correctly identify what it is I have here. I was told it was a Bekeart and so I didn't spend to to much time looking it over in the standard catalog, just a quick perusing. My mistake. and thank you gregintenn for helping me realize my mistake.
  9. I'm not sure if I understand your post correctly but I have some S&W revolvers for sale. I have 3 posted in the firearms classifieds and I may have a few others as well depending on what you are looking for. All of mine are older.
  10. I was thinking something similar but didn't want to expose my inner idiot as I am prone sometimes to do. The cummerbund and shoulder straps are fully adjustable up to like 12" of total movement.
  11. I did not post it because as far as I can tell the carrier has no marking of any kind, I genuinely do not remember where I got it, how much I paid, sizing anything. It fits me and I am a large guy (6'7") so I would assume a large but I cannot definitively state that. Its possible its a medium. I would be willing to meet and let you try it on as long as the meet is somewhere convenient.
  12. No trades this time but I appreciate the asking.
